Stronghold Kingdoms Vassal Guide
To become a Vassal, you must have been requested by a Liege lord. You will be able to see the Vassal request from a Liege Lord from the Vassal menu under Village tab. To become a Vassal, the Vassal must have a lower rank than the Liege Lord, when the Vassal has achieved the same rank as the Liege Lord, the Vassal – Liege Lord relationship will be broken automatically with the troops lost.
Benefit of Being a Stronghold Kingdom Vassal
Additional Daily Honor Gain
Players receive daily honour for simply being a vassal. The vassal can use the stationed troops for defense. As a Vassal in Stronghold Kingdoms, you will gain additional amount of daily honor based on the ranks of you and your Liege lord. It should be noted that this honor gain is not effected by your Village popularity.
Liege’s Troop Defense Protection
Your Liege Lord may send troops to your Village as a way to increase his own troops count. However, you can use these troops as defenses in your own castle for extra defensive troops.
Indirect Faction Protection
Because you can only join a faction after reaching a certain rank, by joining into a Liege Lord’s Vassal, you may receive faction support as well before you can officially join the faction. Your Liege Lord may use the faction’s support system to help its Vassals.
Mentor Apprentice Relationship
Liege lord will usually guide inexperienced players and donate resources to help its Vassals to grow in strength.
How to Pick Your Liege Lord
To pick your Liege Lord, you should first make sure that the person is friendly and helpful. In addition, you need to look at the players around you. You do not have an opposing faction player to become your liege lord. What may end up happening is that you may become the first to go in the crossfire.
Stronghold Kingdoms Liege Lord Guide
A Liege Lord in Stronghold Kingdoms is a player who has vassaled another player’s village. The Liege Lord can station additional troops up to their own maximum command limit based on their own Stronghold Kingdoms research limit. It should be noted that when you station troops in Vassal’s villages, they can be used by your Vassal to either attack or defend.
However, the stationed Vassal troops may not be used to capture or raze other villages from a Vassal village. You cannot use the scouts from the vassals neither, only the stationed troops.
However, as a Stronghold Kingdoms Liege lord, you can attack AI or other players from a Vassal’s village, gaining honour as well as pillaged resources if within the Vassal’s honour circle. Because of this, vassals effectively increase the Liege Lord’s honour circle. However, it should be noted that this honor circle is independent from the initial village’s honor circle. Liege Lords may have multiple armies of up to 500 troops per Vassal. The number of vassals allowed are determined by Stronghold Kingdoms ranks.
You can send the troops to your Vassal villages by reinforcing their village.
Lastly, once you send troops to a vassal you can not get them back, even if you or your vassal breaks the vassalage. If in the event that the vassal relationship is ever broken, the troops are lost forever for both the Vassal and the Stronghold Kingdoms Liege lord.
