Understanding Contracts
As you level up, you will unlock new locations, contracts, and gears to be used. You can earn special time bonuses when you finish the contracts as fast as possible.
Assault contracts: skull icon at the contract description.
Use cover and stealth to sneak up on your enemies and perform devastating melee attacks.
Sniper contracts: crosshairs icon at the contract description.
Use scopes and silencers to conduct long-range assassinations
Different contracts have different goals and time frames. Keep your eyes on the clock to ensure that you do not automatically fail in Contract Killer 2 simply because you have run out of time. Although the contracts are different, but if you are quick enough, you can always blast your way through the mission (which may be hard for certain stages).
Use Your Weapons Well
To really optimize your game play and advancement, you will need to use different weapons at the appropriate times. Below is a quick run down of the different weapon uses in Contract Killer 2. It should be noted that you should aim to buy silencers early in the game.
Knives: Great short distance melee kills within 10 yards.
are great for melee kills from up to 10 yards away
Flashbang Grenades: Temporarily stun enemies.
Reactix Pills: Slow down time
Med Kits: Restore Health.
Silencers: When equipped on your weapons, you can kill without detection and improve critical hit rate.
Gear Upgrade Notes
Scope Upgrades: Accuracy and range bonuses.
Magazine Upgrades: Increase Ammo capacity.
Weapon Durability
Your melee weapons and armors have limited durability, always make sure that your gears have OK durability in the inventory screen. When the durability goes down to zero, your weapons and armors are destroyed in Contract Killer 2. When your melee weapons are destroyed, you will automatically switch to the default neck breaker attack.
Special Units Notes
Snipers: These units have deadly accuracy and damage, be ware of them and take them out first.
Armored Rocketeer and Minigunner: Immune to throwing knives and flashbangs.
Conserve Your Health with Stealth Kills and Cover
When you kill the guards without alerting the other enemies, you save your health to do the tough battles. To pull stealth kills, you will need to be within melee range with the circle appearing over the enemy. Tap the circle when the tiny spinning ball pass the yellow mark. In addition, while in combat, you should always keep Jack covered to avoid losing health by exposing yourself to gun fire.
Do Achievements
Whenever you can, keep an eye on the current achievements in the game. Your primary focus in game is to complete them to earn cash, XP, gear unlocks, and often times free credits.
