Best Dungeon Rampage Hero Class

Depending on how you play the game, there is no best class in Dungeon Rampage. However, in general, the new hero classes seem to have more advanced forms of game play, compared to the beginning class of Berserkers. A good team should have a few damage dealers and tanks to absorb incoming enemy fire. In short, pick your favorite hero and stick with it. There is no best hero to use in Dungeon Rampage.

To unlock different heroes, you can purchase them with either Dungeon Rampage coins or gems.

Dungeon Rampage Berserker

Base Stats
Attack: 2
Defense: 4
Speed: 2

Weapon Types: Axe Weapons, Hammer Weapons, Heavy Throwing
Dungeon Buster Skill: Berserk
Increase character speed and attack. Nearby allies become invincible for 12 seconds.

Class Strategy: The berserker class in Dungeon Rampage is your basic hero class. It has decent attack powers with good training skills. The invincibility dungeon buster can help your team in tough situations.

Dungeon Rampage Berserker Training Stats
Below are the Dungeon Rampage hero stats that can be trained via the Training center:
Melee Power: Increase melee damage
Fury: Increase health regeneration and attack speed
Max Health: Increase maximum health
Max Mana: Increase maximum mana

Dungeon Rampage Berserker Overview
The berserker in the game is your basic tanker and melee damage dealer. Berserkers can deal massive damage when properly equipped with strong powered weapons. The game play for Dungeon Rampage berserker is pretty straight forward. Run to your enemies and beat the hell out of them while tanking to protect your weaker HP teammates such as the sorcerer.

Dungeon Rampage Berserker Weapon Setup
Hammer: Melee Weapon
Axe: Melee Weapon
Heavy Throwing:
Rocks: The rocks is berserker’s best item in clearing out enemies. Always make sure that one of your equipment slot is a throwing rock..

Berserker Stats Build for Dungeon Rampage
For the Berserker, you have the ability to increase your character stats in Damage, Attack Speed, Max Health, Max MP.
For the berserker build, the best build is to go for Attack Speed first, the second damage, and the rest of the stats should go into health. MP is less important in the berserker build because you should not use the MP items all that often.

Notes on Berserker Dungeon Buster Super Skill
The Berserker’s Dungeon Buster is a great move that boosts both you and your entire team’s moving speed and damage. At the same time it grants your team invincibility. Make sure that you are near your teammates when you activate the Dungeon Rampage Berserker dungeon buster. This skill is great against the final room mobs and boss situations. Because of this useful skill, the berserker class is a powerful teammate for any dungeon rampaging team.

Dungeon Rampage Ranger

Base Stats
Attack: 2
Defense: 1
Speed: 4

Weapon Types: Bow Weapons, Sword Weapons, Magic Scrolls
Dungeon Buster Skill: Arrow Storm
Fires 3 waves of arrows at enemies. The waves of arrows can be aimed separately.
Class Strategy: Your job is to shoot the enemies from afar while the melee classes are tanking the enemies. Due to the lower defense of your class, you die quite fast when mobbed by monsters.

Dungeon Rampage Ranger Training Stats
You can train these additional stats for your Ranger hero as you level up in the game:
Shooting Power: Increase shooting damage.
Shooting Speed: Increase shooting speed.
Movement Speed: Faster Movement speed.
Max Mana: Increase maximum mana.

The Ranger is the class specialized in long range combat. However, it’s relatively weaker HP compared to the other classes make it weak to take full on enemy damage. The Dungeon Rampage has the potential to be a great damage dealer and at the same time yield the ability to equip supportive magic scrolls. The Ranger is the most flexible hero class in the game allowing you to take on different roles in the team play setting.

You want to be able to take down enemies before they even get to you. Sometimes you can start shooting enemies without them being on the edge of the screen. Take advantage of this game mechanics to wipe them out quick. The Ranger is also great at breaking obstacles fast because no walking is needed. When you are low in HP, your Dungeon Rampage Ranger class is the best at getting more loots. Consider checking out our Dungeon Rampage winner guide for more advanced player information.

Ranger Weapon Builds

There are multitude of Dungeon Rampage weapon setups depending on how you want to run the dungeons with your Dungeon Rampage ranger. Below we will list out the types of weapons and modifiers that you should go for in the game. The strongest weapons come from rare or higher chests which can be expensive to obtain, your best bet is to farm more Dungeon Rampage gold so that you can purchase those gears. Avoid opening uncommon and common chests once you have obtained a couple strong weapons because it will only be a waste of money.

Ranger Dungeon Farming Build
Main: Bow with Pierce and Faster Attack Modifier. You can settle with just either Pierce or Fast Attack, but you need to have a weapon strong enough to kill the enemies in 1 hit.
Sub: Strong Power Sword with Fast Cooldown and Critical or Beefy Modifier.
Sub: Movement Speed Magic Scroll

The purpose of this weapon build is for you to take down and move across dungeons as fast as possible. At this level you should not have any trouble to quickly rampaging through the dungeon. You basically want to equip all of your high powered and damage gears to mow through enemies fast. The speed in killing and moving is key.

Ranger Harder Dungeon Running Attacker Setup
Main: Bow with Fast Attack and Disable such as Stun or Binding modifier. You want to have both of these because your attacks can disable the enemies which can stop the damage taken from your melee heroes in the team. At the same time if you do get mobbed by 1 or 2 enemies you can potentially take them down without taking too much damage.
Sub: Strong Power Sword with Fast Cooldown and Disable Modifiers. The sword can help you get some breathing room if you are getting heavily mobbed with melee enemies.
Sub: Healing Scroll preferred or Movement Speed Magic Scroll. For the harder dungeons, you will find yourself constantly having lower health. With the healing scroll you can do emergency heals on yourself. However, the movement scroll may work too by helping you to dodge incoming damage from enemies.

When you are trying to advance through the dungeons, you will often find yourself under geared for the harder ones that you want to tackle. For these situations you want gears to disable enemies while you dish out more damage.

Ranger Supportive Setup
Main: Use bows with Speed attack with Crit or Beefy. Your goal is to compliment the damage while your other stronger teammates are tanking the enemy fire.
Sub: Healing Scroll with Lower Mana and Fast Cooldown Modifier.
Sub: Movement scroll with Lower Mana and Fast Cooldown Modifier.

Similar to the harder dungeon setup, you may want to go with this build if you know that you are partying with some stronger players. This build is basically a supportive role to your teammate. With these two scrolls and faster movement, you will make yourself the best surviving hero through the dungeon run. However, this setup works best when you have stronger teammates because you are relatively weaker without the damage from swords compared to the previous two builds.

Note About the Ranger’s Dungeon Buster
Compared to the other Dungeon Rampage classes, the Dungeon Buster for Ranger is pretty weak. The only good part about it is to delay your incoming damage taken while your teammates come and save you when being mobbed. However, the dungeon buster becomes stronger at higher level but then again, your damage should be strong enough that you outdo the dungeon buster skill activation. We typically find it useless to activate dungeon buster 80% of the time.

Ranger Stats Build
Below are some of the ways on how you can build your Ranger. We only list of three of the stats that you should maxed with the rest of stat points going into the 4th category. You should always max out Attack Speed because attack speed is your key way of boosting damage. After attack speed you can either do Movement or mana. We personally like to max out movement speed because it makes ranger stronger in getting positioned to deal damage to enemies. Mana makes the use of magic scrolls more efficient if you want to play a more supportive ranger role in Dungeon Ramapge. In addition, we think that the attack power stats do not make enough difference to be maxed at the time of writing.
Ranger Build 1 (Gamelytic Recommended): Attack Speed, Movement, Mana
Ranger Build 2: Attack Speed, Movement, Attack Power
Ranger Build 3: Attack Speed, Mana, Attack Power

Dungeon Rampage Sorcerer

Base Stats
Attack: 5
Defense: 1
Speed: 2

Weapon Types: Lightning Staves, Lightning Magic, Magic Scrolls
Dungeon Buster Skill: Volt Shield
Summon 4 lightning balls surrounding you and frying the Dungeon Rampage enemies.
Class Strategy: The sorcerer is a strong damage class with weak defenses and hp. You need to stay behind your melee class friends and dish out as much damage as possible.

Dungeon Rampage Sorcerer Training Stats
With each level up, you will gain stats points to train your Dungeon Rampage Sorcerer:
Magic Power: Increase magic damage
Magic Regen: Faster mana regeneration
Magic Defense: Reduce damage taken from magic attacks
Max mana: Increase max mana

Dungeon Rampage Battle Chef

Base Stats
Attack: 2
Defense: 4
Speed: 3

Weapon Types: Meat Cleaves, Cooking Items, Frying Pan Weapons
Dungeon Buster Skill: Meateors
Falling cows damage enemies while creating food items.
Class Strategy: The chef class is interesting that it can make HP recover items. This is a useful class at later dungeons because of their HP making ability.

Dungeon Rampage Battle Chef Training Stats
Melee Power: Increase melee attack damage
Cooking: Better food making chance
Max Health: Increase max health
Mana Regen: Faster mana regen speed

Dungeon Rampage Vampire Hunter

Base Stats
Attack: 4
Defense: 3
Speed: 2

Weapon Types: Crossbow Weapons, Sword Weapons, Hunter Traps
Dungeon Buster Skill: Garlic Nukes
Scatter 6 garlic nukes around to form a defensive ring.
Class Strategy: This class is more or less a stronger version of the ranger class. However, if the ranger class is the light ranged attacker, the Vampire hunter is the heavy artillery. Play it accordingly and take advantage from your ranged attacking ability in Dungeon Rampage.

Dungeon Rampage Vampire Hunter Training Stats
As you gain level in Dungeon Rampage, you can specialize your Vampire hunter in the following leveling up stats:
Shooting Power: Increase shooting damage
Mana Regen: Faster mana regeneration speed
Shooting Defense: Reduce damage taken from shooting attacks
Max Health: Increase maximum HP

Dungeon Rampage Ghost Samurai

Base Stats
Attack: 4
Defense: 2
Speed: 4

Weapon Types: Katana Weapons, Sword Weapons, Light Throwing
Dungeon Buster Skill: Iron Legion
Summon 3 iron clones to fight with you. The clones last for 30 seconds.
Class Strategy: This melee class focuses on speed. Take advantage of your faster movement speed to strike in and out against enemies.

Dungeon Rampage Ghost Samurai Training Stats
The Ghost Samurai in Dungeon Rampage can be trained with the following stats:
Melee Power: Increase Melee damage
Spirit Energy: Faster melee attack speed and mana regeneration speed
Movement Speed: Increase movement speed
Max Health: Increase max health points

As a Ghost Samurai, your goal is to dish out the most melee damage under a short period of time. You have the strongest damaging potential compared to the other Dungeon Rampage heroes. With faster movement speed, you can go in and out of battle easily. Because you have lesser HP compared berserker, you want to either disable enemy damage and take them out quick. Please take a look at our Dungeon Rampage winner guide for more game play guidelines.

Ghost Samurai Weapon Builds
Main: Katana with Speed, Beefy or Crit Modifier
Second: Katana or Sword with Binding or other Disable Modifier
Third: Light Throwing

The Dungeon Rampage weapon build for Ghost Samurai is pretty straight forward. You want to use Katana as your main weapon because it deals the best damage over time. For secondary weapon you can use another Katana with different disable modifiers. If you go the route of using another katana, make sure that the two weapons have different disabling modifiers. Your last use is to get Light Throwing weapons to handle the ranged enemies in Dungeon Rampage.

Note on Ghost Samurai’s Dungeon Buster
The Dungeon Buster move for Dungeon Rampage Ghost Samurai is to summon 3 other ghost Samurai’s. Because the multiples are computer controlled. Sometimes they are pretty stupid in targeting the boss. However, they act as a good meat shield between enemy fire and you. You can consider using them as tank to absorb damage while you stand afar and use your light throwing weapon. This strategy can be useful for later dungeons when the enemies deal significant more damage or for boss stages. It should be noted that all of your Ghost Samurai shadows disappear if your main Ghost Samurai dies in battle.

Dungeon Rampage Ghost Samurai Stats Build
You can use the following two Dungeon Rampage Ghost Samurai builds in your game play. Please note that you can max out three stats while the rest of points going into another Dungeon Rampage stats.

Ghost Samurai Stat Build 1: Spirit Energy, Max Health, Movement Speed
Ghost Samurai Stat Build 2: Spirit Energy, Max Health, Melee Power

These two builds are roughly the same. Your goal is to boost your damage by increasing your attack speed. The next important Dungeon Rampage Ghost Samurai stats is health, you want to have more health to take more enemy damage. Lastly, you have a choice between faster movement or higher damaging power. The choice is completely up to you. We personally like the movement speed for our Ghost Samurai stat build because they help you to dodge and move through traps faster.

Dungeon Rampage Pyromancer

The latest hero the Pyromancer is very much a more tanky version of the Sorcerer. The Pyromancer cannot use magic scrolls but in return they are able to use a ton of other attacking weapons. Because of such, the low level pyromancers are weaker compared to some of the other Dungeon Rampage classes. But at higher levels Pyromancers can shine with its higher end gears that focus on damaging multiple enemies in Dungeon Rampage at the same time.

Dungeon Rampage Pyromancer Stats and Builds
Same with the other Dungeon Rampage classes, the Pyromancer has 4 trainable stats when they level up. These stats are:

Burning Damage: Increase burning damage over time
Fire Burst Damage: Increase fire burst damage
Mana Upgrade: Increase max mana and mana regeneration
Max Health: Increase the max amount of health

The Best build for Pyromancer is to max out Burning Damage, Mana Upgrade, and Lastly Health. The reason is that you will rely the majority of your damage on the burning. With a firewall damage with max burn, you can almost instantly kill mobs of enemies. The Fire Burst damage is the worst stats because it does not boost your damage all that much.

Dungeon Rampage Pyromancer Weapons
The weapons that pyros can equip include the following gears. We have also noted the type of Dungeon Rampage weapons that these gears fall into:

Runes: Mostly 1 hit weapon with cooldown time.
At the time of testing, there are two kinds of runes. One that turns you into a fireball, and another sets up a fire wall.

Flame Driver: This rune turns you into a fireball that does a rapid advancement. This is a good attack to go through traps. This has a hold down attack which lets you dash twice and leaves a pool of fire after the first dash.
Fire Wall: Sets a firewall attack that lasts about 1 second or so in the area. The hold down attack expand the range of firewall.

Fire Glove: Tap weapon.
This style of weapon throws a ranged fireball. However the attack is weak because of its slow attack speed.

Fire Orbs:
Shooting Star, Meteor: This orb does a 1 hit semi ranged attack. The attack has great damage but requires practice and aiming skill.

Flame Staves:
Flame Burst Staff: This weapon gives pyromancer good aoe attacks around him. This has a hold attack which does 3 repeat burst damage that have really awesome area of effect.

Flame Thrower: This weapon throws a flame pillar that are fairly fast.

Recommended Weapon Setup
After testing with the different combinations, the best is to have two Firewall Runes and 1 Glove weapon. The Firewall does massive damage to mobs of enemy, and having two of them will allow you to switch between the two firewall runes. The glove can help against single enemies when you are low on magpic points.

Pyromancer Dungeon Buster – Flame Vortex
This dungeon Buster move is pretty cool where your hero will rain down fire from hell against your enemies, however the damage is not that great but is useful against mob situations.

Pyromancer Enemy Strength and Weakness
The pyro is typically strong versus ice enemies and have normal resistance against other enemies. However the fire attacks are weak against Dungeon Rampage skeleton enemies.

How to Play Pyromancer
The pyromancer in the game is essentially a mage without healing skills but the ability to train maximum health. At higher levels when you have strong enough gears you will be dishing out tons of damage to multiple enemies at the same time. However at the lower levels you cannot tank and you cannot deal enough damage to kill. The earlier levels of a Pyromancer will be hard.
