Dragon Blaze Raid Reference Guide
Raiding is the best way for you to obtain stronger and rare gears in Dragon Blaze. In this guide, we will go over everything you need to know about raiding, and the different raiding set gears that you can obtain in the current version of the game for the global / US server.
We will first go over some raiding basic, team setup, and then lastly the actual gear sets available from each raid stage. However, we will not be talking about Normal modes raids because you typically do not to farm or grind enough Normal mode to require raid sets.
Please note that some of these information is pretty common and basic. If you are advanced player who’s simply trying to complete sets, simply go to the end of this guide for that information.
How to Unlock Dragon Blaze Raid
There are 5 different raids based on the areas that you have unlocked. The raids have some level requirements for you to attend that usually match the general area.
These raids are:
Komodo Fairy (Komodo)
Junglefury (Jungle)
Storm Tyrant (Storm)
Shadowcrag (Shadow)
Deathcrown (DC)
Attending Raids
Raiding in Dragon Blaze requires 2 “tickets”. You will need to find 3 other real player who will participate the raid stage with you. The game provides for easy player matching. However, for some less common raids the queue can take a long time such as Hero Mode Deathcrown. You can also pick the players by requesting raid groups with players on your friend list.
Raid Gear Drops
Depending on the game mode that you are fighting, the different modes have boss of different strengths and gears. The stronger raids will grant higher EXP and very minor gold drop.
Normal Mode: Orange or Below gears from level 30. Set gears.
Hero Mode: Orange or Below Gears from level 30~40.
Legendary Mode: Red (Legendary) or Below gears from level 40~50. Accessories.
At the end of the stage, you can also choose to spend 10 Dragon Blaze Rubies to open another chest. The chest usually has better odds of higher quality gears. However, it may not be the best way to spend your rubies.
For details about different gears on which ones to keep and use, refer to our Dragon Blaze gear guide.
Raid Score Ranking
The Raid score ranking is hugely dependent based on the amount of time it takes for your raid team to wipe out the boss. So, the faster you kill the boss, the better score that you will receive. This is partially why DPS is sometimes much more important in Raids.
The Raid score IMPROVES the quality of items dropped. However, the types of drops that you actually receive is still hugely dependent on luck. For a group that consistently receives S or SS ranking, will end up with significantly better quality gears than groups that end with C’s.
Dragon Blaze Raid Group Setup
Since the speed and damage output is key in raids, you want a damage output focused team while ensuring successful runs without anyone dying. For lower to mid-high level raids, you typically want to team up with 1 Dragon Blaze healer priest on the team.
Below is two common raid setups:
1 Healer, 2 DPS, 1 Tank
1 Healer, 3 DPS
In general, you do not need a tank at all in the raids as long as the priest does not have the highest DEF in the party, and the DPS in your party is OK geared. Anytime you have a raid group with more than 1 healer or 1 tank, you will usually end up with either B or C scores, or even fail the stage due to the lack of damage.
In some end game setups with potions and HP scrolls, some groups of players opt for this setup:
4 DPS
It’s a type of setup that can usually ensure S or SS finishing, however it can get costly with the potion use and only really high geared players can afford to do so.
Raid Group Personal Consideration
Depending on your class, you have different priorities during fights in terms of character customization.
DPS: Maximize your single damage output. Either through Critical attack + critical damage or high Attack Speed.
Healer: Get magnify ultimate active skill to boost party’s DPS. Decent Heal + Cutie Power Up for Group Heal.
Tank: Maximize the third passive Fighting Spirit to boost party’s DPS. Ensure high DEF, EVA, and HP to sustain damage. You should have enough DEF so that you stand in front line.
One additional consideration is that Priest should have at least 1 point in Guidance, to remove stun or silence debuffs casted on DPS team member.
