Gamelytic’s Best FarmVille 2 Level Walkthrough

Gamelytic

This is a strategy dedicated to advancing your farm as fast as you can. By following this guide to the book, you should be able to hit level 20 within a week. If you have found this walkthrough helpful, please share them with your friends. Please take a look at our Farmville 2 guides for more useful information about the game.

Throughout the game, you want to get as many FarmVille 2 neighbors as possible because they will be required at various stages such as material request, hiring staff, and daily friend’s visits. The strategy laid below should not change much but however can be improved if there are limited time crops that give you more money or EXP.

It should be noted that we do not go into details on the quests because they actually slow your leveling down in the game. You can do quests along the way, but getting the setup correctly is key to leveling up fast. You can also check out our Complete FarmVille 2 Level Up and Coin Making Guide for more general guidelines in detail.

Other than the pointers laid out at each level, you should always:

1. Expand More Farm area whenever possible.
2. Save Money for either Well or Water Trough to hold more animals.
3. Get as many FarmVille 2 active players as possible.
4. Always Fertilize your crops to make them twice as effective, plus the chance to get Prized crops.

FarmVille 2 Gamelytic Walkthrough

Before we start, you should check out some Useful FarmVille 2 Tips, Tricks Compilation to make the process easier for you. It should be noted that this guide is written for non cash players. If you plan on spending Farm Cash throughout the game play. You can typically purchase the strongest and most advanced animals, and consider skip some land expansion requirements to boost your FarmVille 2 advance speed.

Level 1-Level 10

Level 1: This is your starting level. Getting through should be a breeze, just follow the basic tutorials and get a handle on the game. It should be noted now that when you level up, all of your watered crops and trees will be instantly grown. So when you level up, you should have the longest maturity crops ready to go.

Level 2~4: At this level, farm tomatos and blue berries to save money to buy trees. Once you have enough trees, you can start farming Wheat, consider start farming them and save some of them for later crafting needs. Do not buy any animals unless the quest asks you to. You can however get a few chickens to get eggs for crafting too. For me I would skip the quests altogether in terms of animals. Save money to expand into additional farmland as fast as you can to unlock additional plots. More plots = more coins in FarmVille 2.

Consider building a brigade of Apple and Lemon trees during this stage. I personally have about 30~40 trees when I reach level 6.

Level 5: The awesome crop Strawberry unlocks at this level. The primary purpose of strawberry is to create Feed for you. After you have unlocked this, you should have entire field of Strawberries watered and fertilized before you level up. This will be your main source of animal feeds. With every level up, you will earn enough feed for another level. The ability to craft items has also been unlocked.

Land Expansion is available. You will have to fulfill the following requirements:
Have 5 trees
Gather 6 milk bottles.
Have 2000 coins.

Level 6: The Rhode Island Red Chicken unlocks at FarmVille 2 level 6. Your goal is to save enough to have as many Rhode Island Red Chicken as possible. With the fertilizers that you get consistently from your high numbers of Rhode Island Red Chicken, you should be able to instant grow some of your crops with friend’s helps while at the same time fertilize them all.

Now if your Chicken becomes Prized in Farmville 2, do not be sad and just sell them. Your goal is really to generate the XP and fertilizers from the chicken.

If you have saved the wheat and eggs, now would be the time to use them all in crafting for Apple Scone. At this stage, always make sure that you use all the crafting power you have. Crafting will be good source of money from now on.

Level 7~9: Continue farming, crafting and save up coins. You want to have as many Rhode Island Red Chickens because they will generate the majority of the experience points fast for you. With 10 Rhode Island chickens with consistent friend help, you should get 1 level every 12 hours or so or faster.

It should be noted that you also unlock FarmVille 2 Mastery Ribbons. Now you can get an even bigger bonus by focusing your effort in planting pure Wheat and Strawberries.

Land Expansion is available at level 8. However if you follow this guide you probably have leveled too fast without saving enough coins. Simply wait until you hit level 10 or 11 to have enough coins to unlock the land if you are short on coins.

Also at level 9, you can also start crafting cornbreads which can be a decent source of experience points. You should have your second water trough now to have up to 15 animals. Mix up between Rhode Island Chicken and Saanen Goats to lock in a healthy fertilizer count

Level 10: You unlock Sunflower at this stage, switch from the Strawberry strategy to Sunflowers. Consider start building Lemon trees and save lemons for later lemonade uses. If you have not build your second well. This is a really good time to save your coins to do so. Although Strawberry has a better feed to coin cost ratio, you will find that getting extra feed is more worthwhile in the long run.

Level 11-Level 20

Level 11: Peach Lemonade unlocks, this is a strong recipe for more Farmville coins. Make sure you have enough of peach and lemon trees. You will be pumping out a lot of lemonade to fund your farm expansions and wells.

When this unlocks, replace all of your apple trees into peach trees if you are short on land space. 5~10 peach trees will do because of their short maturity time. With the amount of money earned through Peach Lemonade, pump them into Silo, Land Expansion, Water Well, and Trough. You will be doing Peach Lemonade for the forseeable future until level 18.

Level 12: An Additional Trough is available to be purchased. Once you get it, you will have a maximum of 20 animals. You can either do a mixture of Rhode Island Red Chicken and maybe 5 Saanen goats. With 15 chickens you can get 15*4 = 60 XP / 5 min = 720 XP /hr. This means that you will be able to get a new level at roughly about 12 hours of playing.

Level 13: The recipe of Pecan Muffin unlocks at this level. This is another great recipe that uses theoretically less water to grow than Peach Lemonade.

Level 14-17: There is nothing special during these three levels. Simply level up fast using all the chickens. Get as many wells, silos, and Water trough as possible with the money that you earn at this stage. After which you can put money into unlocking additional land area too. You will need them to place more crop fields and the necessary buildings.

There are a few crops, trees, and recipes that unlock during these levels. But they are still not good. So stick to the Peach Lemonade and Pecan Muffin. At the time of writing, I am still clocking 1-2 level per day or even faster if I played a bit more. The key is to have maxed out Rhode Island Chickens and enough sun flowers to keep the feeding up.

Level 18: Carrot unlocks at this level. You can now grow Carrots as your main source of feeds. At this level you unlock a super profitable carrot cake. However the ingredients require you to ask salt and sugar from friends. By this time you should have plenty of friends to ask ingredients from.

Level 21-Level 30

Level 21: You unlock a super profitable recipe that requires very little water to complete. The Potato Salad.
