Flyff All Stars Beginner’s Walkthrough
In the beginning, we would recommend you to spend some diamonds to draw some premium beginner heroes. Do not spend real money on the diamonds yet, until you are absolutely sure you want to stick with the game. Only spend the free diamonds that you obtain through rewards and quests at this stage.
After you have at least 2~3 units of 4* heroes. You can either spend the rest of our diamonds to upgrade your max wing limit, or you can test your luck to see if you can get higher rarity heroes. It should be noted that it is quite rare to draw 6* or even 7* heroes using diamonds.
You should try to move away from your 1~3 star heroes as soon as you can. They are simply too weak to handle the later dungeons. If you have entered the game late, it will be tough to win arena ranking for the 3 and 4* arenas. Your best bet is to play in it for some basic rewards.
Upgrade and fuse your heroes into 4~5*’s. Grind for additional gold to boost your heroes levels. Always try to advance further into the levels, if you die in any dungeons, grind the last level that your team can handle.
Continue to grind and progress through the dungeons, while completing daily quests and arena fights. These are some of the ways that you can obtain free diamonds in Flyff All Stars.
Team Setup Configurations
Your team should have at least 1 attacker, 1 tank, and another one that is speed based if you wish to run for dungeon master title. The most basic way to tell is by checking their default active skill inside hero profile page.
The order should be attacker, speed attacker, and tank. Attacker and speed attacker should be able to go through the entire dungeon by themselves most of the times.
Hero or Monster Units
By looking at the basic stats, your heroes will generally be stronger than the monster unit counterparts. So if you have a choice to use a human hero or monster, always go with the human instead. Only level your monster units to level 30 if you want it as fusing material.
Notes on Diamond Uses
Diamonds are hard to get in the game unless you do spend real cash. So treat diamond like they are diamonds. Never spend diamonds on wings, and scale back with the premium hero pulls after your basic team is set. Try not to use them on EXP boost as well as they are really a waste.
We believe that the best use of diamond is on wing upper limits.
Dungeon Running Basic
You can enter dungeons with up to three heroes at any time. Each attempts will cost your 1 energy (wings). In the beginning of the game you will get quite a few wings from level up and rewards, however, those will become dry pretty quick and you will have to wait for the wings to refill.
You can upgrade your wing’s upper limit by spending diamonds. This helps you to get additional energy while you AFK, so that you do not have to check back on your phone as often.
Note: You can purchase additional “hero” slots. It refers to your hero slot inventory. It does not let you bring more heroes into dungeons.
Comrade system
You can request for “comrades” from units currently owned by your friends. Each friend has a limit of how many units that they can “deploy” or share with their own friends, so sometimes you may see that request is unavailable. Requesting comrades is helpful for you to tackle stages that normally would be impossible.
Getting more Wings
The easiest way to get wings is to wait for the natural timer. However, you can also spend social points to purchase wings at 20 social points per wing.
Active Skills
Each of your heroes has a “default” active skill that is bounded by account. You can level up your active skills via the world’s main menu.
Dungeon Reward Selection
If you successfully kill the boss and complete the dungeon. You will be presented with a selection of either “random” reward or fixed reward. You typically want to go for random reward unless you have a time zone ticket or a high rarity hero as fixed. Although you have chances of losing the fixed reward, the random reward will typically have a higher payoff over time.
The value of the dungeon reward is ranked as followed in our opinion.
Timed Zone Ticket > High Rarity Hero > Crystal > Gold > Low Rarity Hero > Nothing
How to Become Dungeon Master
Dungeon Master award is rewarded when you have the fastest dungeon completion time. Other players can “replace” you as the dungeon master if they have a faster time. Below are some of the useful tips that can help you to become the Dungeon master:
Move Speed is Important
Forge until you get move speed boosting gears. Move speed is super important to help you complete dungeons faster. The bigger the dungeon, the more differences that move speed gears will make. Forge gears continuously until you get a good one.
After getting a decent move speed gear, consider using another character to draw even faster gears, so that you do not lose the ones.
In addition, you can get additional move speed by “boosting” it with 500 coins before starting of the stage.
One Shot Kills
Attacking monsters slow you down, to be safe at killing monsters faster, aim for one shot kills with your skills and even normal hits. If it takes more than a few hits to kill a mob, the chances are that you are too weak to have a shot at obtaining dungeon master.
Use of AoE
You want to use characters that have multiple AoE’s that have good radius. The fastest way to complete a Flyff All Stars dungeon is usually mobbing a few monsters, then blast them away altogether with AoE’s.
Know the Layout of Dungeon
Practice a few runs of the dungeons, make sure you know exactly where to tap and go. You want to find the best mobbing spots, where to stop, where to turn, and the places where you can unleash AoE. Timing is key to get the Dungeon Master title.
Use Ranged Heroes
Ranged heroes have an advantage in dungeon master title hunt. By walking less, you have slightly faster rate of killing monsters fast.
Attack Speed Boost
To eek out a few millisecond with your dungeon running time, you can go further to boost the attack speed of your character. Attack speed can be increased via active skill, forged equipment, stage boost, and a few character skills.
Hero Common Questions
Hero Level Up
Your heroes are considered “max level” when they hit level 30. However, the game lets you level the heroes beyond level 30, with significantly higher EXP requirements per level. The heroes will gain additional stats with every level up.
Power Leveling Your Hero
One way to power level your hero is to use a stronger one, to carry your weaker time through the battle. To make sure that this leveling method work, your main hero must be strong enough to pass through the entire dungeon.
Hero Upgrade
Heroes can be upgraded when you “feed” or sacrifice other heroes. The higher rarity heroes give additional chance. The gold costs increases with higher rarity, as well as with increasing upgrade levels.
Merging or Fusing Your Hero
Hero fusion is one of the way for you to get higher star rated heroes. You “sacrifice” two of the lower star heroes for a random hero of the next tier. You should usually only do this when you have backup heroes, so that you can power level the new forge fast.
Hero Forging Weapons
When you go into hero screens, you can “forge” for character weapons. Higher rarity heroes require more crystals. You can also “lock” the equipment with some gold so that they do not disappear with the forging re-roll.
Changing Active Skills
The hero’s default active skill can also be changed with diamond cost. However, in general, the default active skills match with that of the heroes. You usually do not need to change them. Unless you have invested heavily into a particular category.
Arena Fights Strategies
The arena fights are one of the best ways for you to earn some free diamonds in Flyff All Stars. Depending on when you are entering the server and Flyff All Stars world, your strategy may differ.
In general, you want to enter all the arena fights in all of the regions. Doing so will at least rank you for a few of the diamond rewards.
Arena Fight Rewards
When you win arena fights in Flyff All Stars, you will earn arena points when you win the battle. You will earn social points.
It should be noted that you will earn a little social points for losing the fights as well. You do lose arena scores if you lose the battle.
Boost 2 of the Heroes First
Since arena fights are scored by best out of three, you only need to win two
Use a high Level Lower Tier in Higher Tier Arena
The tier system is usually accurate in terms of unit strengths. You typically want to level up characters in the same tier to compete effectively. However, a really high level lower tier unit can sometimes be more effective. Check your unit’s stats info to make that decision.
Use your active skills
A high level active skill is what is necessary to help you win your arena battles. Upgrade your active skills to what your level allows you to. Use active skills whenever possible during arena fights. In addition, it may help to pick and use heroes with the high active skill level that you already upgraded.
Flyff Allstars Timed Zone
Timed zone are mini dungeons that you unlock with “Time Zone Tickets”. Each of the region has its own timed zones and its own ticket count. You can hold up 10 tickets for each of the region.
The zones are divided into three categories: Easy, Medium, and Hard. They offer no EXP but is a good source of gold and crystals. Harder dungeons have higher key drop rates. You have 90 seconds to run in the zone, however occasionally mobs can reward you with some additional time.
Your goal is to kill them as fast as you can. So like dungeon master strategies, you want 1 shot kills, fast attack speed, move speed, and heroes with multiple AoE skills. You generally want to prepare at least 2 strong heroes so that they can switch one another off.
