Dwarven Den Hard Stage Walkthrough
The game Dwarven Den gets really hard as you advance through the dungeons. We consider the first half of the game to be fairly easy and require no major farming, however, later stages can get really complicated. In this guide, we will provide you with some insight and gear recommendations to help you conquer the later levels of Dwarven Den.
Please note that this Dwarven Den hard stage walkthrough will be constantly updated as new updates are released and as we play through the stages. Please bookmark this page and come back for future updates!
We also provide some generic stage strategy towards the end of the guide. This offers some generic strategies for the game.
Generic Dwarven Den Strategy
Stage 22-40
During this part of the game, simply farm a little bit and upgrade your Rune Blade to sturdy. With this weapon you can pass most of the stages, however there are a few stages in between that you need to switch out (If you died because of lack of tech). We only switched out this weapon for 1~2 of the stages. Stage 39 is one of them where you have to use tunnel digging the first time.
Stage 41-44
From this point on, you will have to farm for stronger gears and use different setup for different stages. You will at least need the Sturdy Tri Blade to continue the stages. We recommend having Sturdy Winged Helmet to help with getting crystals. Use the strongest backpack that you can equip at this stage.
Stage 45
This stage requires a good amount of luck for you to pass and mine all the gold, unless you farm the hell out of previous stages to get enough energy/ tech gears. You may simply run out of tech to continue digging. Try to hit as little blocks as you can, even tank some of the enemies so that you can conserve your tech.
You have to use either Sturdy Spearhead Pick or Sturdy Jade Hammer. The Sturdy Iron Blade is not strong enough to break through the hardest blocks and you do not have the energy nor tech to spend. Using Sturdy Tri Blade is out of question too as it will limit the amount of tech that you receive.
The key to pass level 45 is to conserve and be luck, and keep trying.
Stage 46
This is a hard stage, there are plenty of enemies abound. You will both need to conserve your energy while en
We used the following equipment:
Sturdy Iron Blade, Tech +40%
Sturdy Winged Helmet, Crystal Foresight +5
Sturdy Glyph Backpack, Trap Reward +50%
You will definite need the iron blade to make sure that you obtain enough tech to carry on with the digging. The Crystal Foresight will help you to get more crystals to get you through.
The only down fall is that it will require 4 shots for you to destroy the hardest block for this stage. Avoid those blocks and try to get around those unless absolutely necessary. The extra tech boost is needed to be able to dig more often as this stage spawns a bit of blue crystals for you to take advantage of. Trap enemies whenever necessary since you will be getting 8 energy which can help big time.
Stage 47, 49-51
You should be this stage fairy with the previous setup.
Sturdy Iron Blade, Tech +40%
Sturdy Winged Helmet, Crystal Foresight +5
Sturdy Glyph Backpack, Trap Reward +50%
Stage 52
The key to solve this stage is to plan ahead. You will need to use Sturdy Tri Blade. Look ahead and only pick up the metal orb when you need. You may need a little luck for the stage, if too many high level blocks spawn, you will lose before you get to the end.
Use Fire Mummy’s fire and Bomb Wasp to help you clear some of the harder to break blocks. This can help you conserve the much needed energy points. Do not break gold blocks until the end of the stage until you are sure you can beat the level.
Recommended Gears:
Sturdy Tri Blade, Energy +40% Tech -20%
Sturdy Winged Helmet, Crystal Foresight +5
Sturdy Glyph Backpack, Trap Reward +50%
Stage 53
This is a basic stage that teaches you how to use bridge. Any weapon that you currently have will work.
Stage 54
In this stage, saving tech is your best option. Use Sturdy Tri Blade to save and conserve your energy. You may have to “tank” some of the enemies or simply avoid them. Do not be greedy to mine the gold or open up chests if they contain the monsters. You will have enough resources to pass the stage. Strategically plan out where to place the bridges. If not, you will most likely lose due to the lack of tech.
Do not break gold blocks until the end of the stage until you are sure you can beat the level.
Recommended Gears:
Sturdy Tri Blade, Energy +40% Tech -20%
Sturdy Winged Helmet, Crystal Foresight +5
Sturdy Glyph Backpack, Trap Reward +50%
Stage 55
This is a great gold farming stage.
Stage 56
Tech is extremely important in this stage. However you can now upgrade your previous “sturdy” gears into higher form. Hope you still have the Sturdy Iron Blade which gives you +40% tech. Farm level 55 for a bit until you get 4200 gold and upgrade you. You will need the upgraded form to pass the stage. Tech is needed to dig through the stages, without the this pick, you will have extremely hard time to pass and require tons of luck.
Recommended Gears:
Mighty Iron Blade, Power +74, Tech +40%
Sturdy Winged Helmet, Crystal Foresight +5
Sturdy Glyph Backpack, Trap Reward +50%
Stage 57
You can use the previous set of gears to complete the stage quite easily. However, watch out for enemies as you can still run out of energy if you get hit by enemies.

Manage Your Energy and Tech
Energy
One of the most important aspect throughout the entire game is to manage both your energy and your tech points. Always go for the Red or Blue crystals first to ensure that you have a proper amount of energy and tech. Without Energy, you will lose the game quite easily. It is good practice to always have more than 10 points of energy so that you will not get instantly killed when you touch the monsters.
It should note that you can win the stage if you use your last energy to beat it, meaning you can win with 0 Energy left if it is indeed your last move.
One good way to convert your tech into energy is to trap enemies. By default trapped enemies grant you 5 energy, and more if you have trap reward boosts.
Environmental Damage
You trigger mine stability issues when you break too many rocks. You have two ways to respond to it, first is to run as far away from the fall out. If you are fast enough, you can get out of the falling zone. However, if you fail to run you may bump into two falling blocks, causing 20 damage to you and instantly kill you. You can also stay put if you have spare tech to blow up the walls and conserve your energy.
Tech
The Tech points gets a little messy, depending on where you are in the game, you want to keep a certain amount of tech with you. It is usually the best practice to NOT use bombs towards mid stages, you are better off to use your picks and save your tech to trap the monsters.
When you have unlocked the Power Glove, you want to make sure you have more than 5 points to pick up the keys. Without the keys to open the doors, you will be stuck and force to exit the stage. This means that you may have to avoid enemies rather than using your tech to kill them.
Once you reach level 40’s, you may actually want to keep tech above 20 so that you can use tunnel digging when needed.
Now, if you are low in tech and you know you need tech to unlock door. You should touch enemies when you have enough energy buffer. It is much better to have a lower energy, than no chance to pass the stage at all.
Forging Guidelines
A good rule of thumb to continue forging your gears so that your pick can destroy the “common” block with 1 hit and 2 hits on the stronger blocks. If you need two hits to destroy the common blocks, the chance is that you are under geared and you will most likely lose the stage. Your best shot is to go back to the stage and farm equips and gold.
You should never forge items if you are not running into troubles, this is because as you progress in the game, you will obtain higher level gears. If you forge those higher level gears, you will instead save plenty of gold for upgrade.
Basic Enemy Encounter Strategies
Use gears that increase Monster Foresight to know where the enemies are. When you are low in energy or tech, avoid them or trap them early. You need to be on the lookout for the monsters.
Pre-Trapping: This technique is one of the useful trick in the game. Place a trap before you break the final block, this way you do not have to panic to setup last minute traps only to be touched and lose energy.
Setup Running Path: If you are low on tech or before you are touching chests (when Mimics start spawning), always look ahead and prepare to make your escape. Usually for mimic, you do not have time to trap them, your best bet is to run far away, place your traps, and trigger the mimiic again.
Setup Hiding Space: This is especially useful again projectile attacks such as Fire Mummy’s fire ball. Setup a tiny space to the side of the straight path. You never want to get touched by the fireball as it is 10 points of energy lost for no reason.
Enemy Line of Sight: In general, you are more likely to be detected (with a red exclamation mark) if you have a clear straight line of path next to the enemy. This is important especially when you are luring mobs into your traps.
How to Get More Gold
The best way to get more gold is through farming stages that you know for sure you can pass.
Equip Gold Enhancing Gears
Some picks give you more gold when you mine them, these include but not limited to the Rune Blade. Your best shot is to save up and upgrade them as soon as you get them. The gold bonus plus proper stage farming will net you more gold than you need.
Sell Unneeded Equipment
As you farm some of the earlier stages, you will get quite a few equips. Although it is generally to forge them to obtain higher level gears, you can always sell them for some extra gold.
Dwarven Den Enemy List
Spider:
This is your first enemy in the game. They go in straight lines and deal 5 energy damage if you touch them. They are pretty easy to avoid except when they are guarding tight two space areas.
Mummy:
Mummy is a little more tough than spiders where they deal 10 damage, they will also target you and follow you around. However, they are typically easy to avoid and trap since their movement is relatively slow.
Mimic:
Mimic “pretend” to be treasure chests and they turn on you when you are the least expected. The best way to defend against Mimic is to always be ready. Also, in some stages if you have a high monster sighting equipment, you can see Mimic while they are still hiding in the shadows. When you trap and kill mimics, you can open the chests.
Fire Mummy:
Fire Mummy is the first projectile enemy that you will face in Dwarven Den. Both the fireball or the fire mummy itself will deal 10 damage to your energy. The fireballs are shot when you are in the clear line of path, so always make sure you hide from the corner and lure the Fire Mummy into your trap. The fireball from mummies will be able to destroy blocks. It will also destroy fire and blue crystals so you have to be extra crystal.
Wasp:
The Wasp is a deadly enemy where it can do up to 20 energy damage to you. When you first meet the enemy, their attacks could potentially kill you in one shot.
Armadillo:
The Armadillo dig out holes that will lead to other areas in the map. They deal 10 damage to you when you touch them. You will have to take advantage of them to travel to other places on the map without using your energy.
Bomb Wasp:
The bomb wasp does not physically damage you when you touch them. However, they will turn into bomb when they are next to you. You can use the bomb effect to take down blocks or crystals.
Rockadillos
Rockadillos leave their hardened shells which become a dead lock block. Plan ahead on where you place your traps to kill them.
Never Farm Unless Necessary
As you progress through the levels, you receive higher end loots which can be used to forge higher stuff, in addition, the gold blocks become more valuable as you advance. This means that you should never farm earlier stages as long as you can progress. Only farm when you have trouble to continue through the stages. You will find that you can save more gold along the way.
Important Equipment to Upgrade or Have
Most of the gears are useless in the game. You never want to rely too much on chances to be able to progress. With a randomized dungeon system, there are plenty of factors up to chance already. In this section, we will go over some key pieces of equipment that you will need to advance the stages. When you actually forge these items, keep them as you will need them soon.

Best Gold Farming Stages
When you need to farm for either gold or stronger equipment, you should pick out the best stages to do so. In general, the best stages are easy to do and should be fairly short for you to complete. Use this guide as a farming strategy walkthrough to help you farm for more gold and loots in Dwarven Den.
Stage 22:
Proper Equipment:
Must Have Sturdy Rune Blade
Native Backpack preferred
This is one of the best stage to farm for gold simply for its consistency. You will almost never die in this stage unless you do something stupid. You start the stage with enough energy to trap 3 mummies which net you with 15 additional starting energy. You do not need to use compass and you just hit your way through the stage.
Stage 36:
Proper Equipment
Must Have Sturdy Rune Blade
Aviator Cap to Improve Visibility
Either Native Backpack (Trap Reward +25%) or Highest Backpack you have.
This gold farming stage for Dwarven Den is a little more tricky. You may still lose the stage if you are surrounded with high level blocks when you enter.
Stage 48
Proper Equipment
Have Sturdy Rune Blade
This is a short intro stage that teaches you about switches. You can complete the stage under a short period of time. The only bad part is that this stage offers no equipment loots. You can earn roughly 120 gold per run.
Stage 55
Proper Equipment
Sturdy Rune Blade, gold x2, Tech -50%
Sturdy Winged Helmet, +25 Energy, Crystal Foresight +5
Sturdy Glyph Backpack, Trap Reward +50%
A very generous stage in terms of gold and crystals. You will ever go back and farm previous stages once you reach this point. You can earn mine from 600 up to 750 gold per run. Having the energy crystal foresight helps you determine where to mine next, and the backpack give you additional energy. Use this stage to farm both the gold and loots.
