Introduction

Dungeon Rampage is a fun action dungeon crawler that lets you battle alongside with your Facebook and other friends. In this guide, we will explore some ways for you to earn experience points fast while earning more gold. Please let us know if you have any additional tips on how to level fast and make gold faster. Remember to share this guide with your fellow game friends if you have found it useful! Please also check out the rest of our Dungeon Rampage guides.

Please note that we do not believe in hacks or cheats, and thus this guide will contain no information on how to hack or cheat in Dungeon Rampage.

Dungeon Rampage How to Level Fast

To get experience faster and level up, there are primarily two ways. The first way is boss farming and the second way is joining friend’s half completed dungeons. Below we will show you how to level faster in Dungeon Rampage in detail. Also, you want to avoid any loss of experience points simply because you cannot beat a dungeon, when you die near the end of dungeon, consider using heal bombs or get friends to jump in and save your progress.

Dungeon Rampage Boss Farming
Bosses are the best way to get lots of EXP during a short period of time. Boss battles are typically short and to the point. And by completing these boss battles, you will earn lots of Dungeon Rampage exp fast. Also, because other high level players may also be farming these bosses to level up. It makes your leveling speed even faster. Below are the Dungeon Rampage bosses that you should consider farming to level up.

Please note that you can also advance further rather than my recommended level if you have enough people to join your fights. The recommended levels are given as a gauge on the difficulty of the boss. More will be updated as we progress through the game.

Level 1-30: Rookie League’s Papa Yeti – 125 Victory EXP
Level 30-50: Gladiator League’s Cretaceous Park Boss – 250 victory EXP
Level 40-60: Gladiator League’s Frostgaard Boss – 275 Victory EXP

Papa Yeti EXP Farming
This boss is pretty straight forward. You have right room and left room. If you are mainly going after the leveling exp, simply go straight to yeti and kill him within 30 seconds. However, the two mobs in left and right is a good source of Gold coin farm as well.

Cretaceous Park Boss EXP – Save the Chef
The beauty of this boss exp farm is that there is no intermediate mobs that you need to kill. Just run straight to the boss and kill a couple of wizards. If you have a semi decent team, the boss stage can be done in about 30 seconds to 1 minute. If you are able to complete the dungeons before this before level 30. This boss will yield faster Dungeon Rampage leveling speed than Papa Yeti.

Frost Troll for EXP level
This Dungeon Rampage boss is a little more tricky for farm Experience points. You will have to be strong enough to take down the boss single handed because not many people farm this boss. At usually about level 40 with decent equips, you will be able to kill this boss by yourself. This boss has even less walking to get to, if you can kill the boss within 20 seconds you will be able to farm the more leveling experience points for Dungeon Rampage.

Joining Friend’s Dungeon for Fast Leveling Speed
Once you have added someone as your friend in Dungeon Rampage, you have the option of joining their dungeons midway. However, you will still receive the full victory experience when the dungeon is done. This means that you will save significant amount of time by simply joining friend’s dungeons to “victory”. What you can do is to note which of your friends are running experience farming parties, or even time their dungeon running speed. If you can get the timing right, you should have a roster of friend dungeons that you simply join for fast experience points gain.

Avoid any Loss of Experience Points
Another concept is that you should never give up on a dungeon that you are almost done. To level up fast, sometimes you will have to use heal bombs or ask friends to help you. Do not reset dungeons and waste your time and could be experience points.

Fast Dungeon Rampage Movement Speed

To make gold fast, you need to run through dungeons fast. During your normal dungeon runs, especially at higher level dungeons, you will often get gold bricks which make you more gold than killing mobs. However, your goal is to finish the entire dungeon fast to make the most Dungeon Rampage gold possible. Because of this, the best class for gold farming in Dungeon Rampage is Ranger at the time of writing. Make sure you train the movement stat and use the best movement speed scroll for your ranger in Dungeon Rampage gold grinding.

Dungeon Rampage rangers can train their movement speed to move faster. In addition, they can use magic scrolls which one of the scroll improves their movement speed. Combine these two factors, you have a mean money grabbing machine to get the most loots possible.

Technique for How to Make Gold Faster

Crawl dungeons with Full Party to Make More Gold
The Dungeon Rampage dungeons become harder and gives additional loot when you have a full party running it. In addition to the improve gold and experience drops, your teammates will also help you grab the dropped gold. Because your entire team gets the same loot, it is always good to have the full party when running through dungeons. Having full Dungeon Rampage party will help you earn more gold.

One Shot Kills and Make Extra Gold
Another important factor for you to traverse through dungeon fast is that you must be strong enough. The best dungeon to run is when you have enough weapon power to take out most of the enemies fast. If you can kill everything in your path effortlessly, you will be able to make more Dungeon Rampage gold. Get the strongest weapon that you can afford and farm the dungeons.

Farm Hardest Dungeons for Additional Gold
This tip kind of goes against the tip above, however they go hand in hand. You want to crawl the strongest dungeon that you can afford to kill fast. Harder and stronger dungeons typically have better loot drops. The only thing that this is not useful if harder dungeons take you twice or triple the time to go through. You should always farm the strongest dungeons that you can kill most enemies in one shot.

Use Stronger Pets to Kill Faster

Pets are money purchase only at the time of writing. If you are thinking about purchasing a Dungeon Rampage pet, this guide is for you. We will go over everything that you need to know about using your pets in the game so that you will not waste money on a pet that you do not need.

Prepare and Getting Your Pets
The only way to get a pet right now is to purchase them via the shop. Wait for promotion specials when the pets go on sale.

After you have purchased the pet, you have to go into the item storage screen and equip them. It should be noted that each of your available heroes can equip their own pet. This means that if you want to switch pets from hero to hero, you must unequip the specific pet first and move it.

Pets Overview
In general, your pet becomes stronger as your hero gains character level ups. The Dungeon Rampage pets are AI controlled and they can be pretty stupid. They will lose HP when they bump into traps and they all die pretty easily when they are mobbed by enemies, with the exception of War Rhino.

The dungeon rampage pets will typically follow you throughout the dungeon, however they will “teleport” next to you when they are far enough from you. After they die in battle, they have a 60 second cooldown resurrection time.

Below are the list of the pets that you can currently purchase in the Dungeon Rampage.

Night Wolf: This pet can pick up Gold or XP stars when it “happens” to walk over them. However, the Night Wolf does not actively go after these gold or XP stars. This means that this pet is pretty useless because you are better off picking up the loots yourself the majority of the time.

In terms of battle strength, the Night Wolf has no specialty and dies pretty easily in battle.

War Rhino: War Rhino is a powerful pet that pretty much has no weakness against the enemy attacks. The War Rhino can dizzy enemy and draw enemy fire to help you. In addition, if you are ranged attacker such as ranger or sorcerer type class, the War Rhino is for you.

Red Dragon: This is a ranged magic pet who spits out fireball. The fireball will cause minor burn damage. This pet can contribute to your overall DPS, but it still dies fairly easily against higher level dungeons.

Best Dungeon Rampage Pet
At this time based on the numbers of pets available in the game, our vote goes to the War Rhino. If you are planning to spend real money, the War Rhino is your top choice. Their ability to draw and tank enemy attacks and disable them earns our top vote for the best pet in the game.

Understanding The Basic

As a refresher, we will go through some basic of the game if you still have not known by now.

How to Get New Dungeon Rampage Heroes
The new heroes can be bought in the shop or the Tavern section of the game. Once you’ve purchased a new Hero from the Shop or Tavern on the Town screen, you can switch to that character by going to the Tavern and selecting the character there.

After you have purchased your Dungeon Rampage heroes, you can change Heroes from the Dungeon Information screen that appears when you click on a spot on the Dungeon Map.

How to Heal in Dungeon Rampage Dungeons
There are a couple of ways that you can regain health points in Dungeon Rampage:

1. Regen out of battle
2. Food item drop from boxes or anything that you can break. Food such as sausage, hamburgers and more will drop. Simply walk over those items
3. Battle Chefs can create food randomly while fighting.
4. Battle Chef’s Dungeon Buster move can rain exploding cows that turn into healing hamburgers
5. Equip healing scrolls that are bought in shop or found in Dungeon Rampage dungeons. The scrolls can heal everyone including the pets within a short distance of the person using the scroll.

Dungeon Rampage and Your Friend List
When you first joining in Dungeon Rampage using your Facebook acccunt, any of your friends who already play the game are added to your friends list for Dungeon Rampage automatically. You can also send your Dungeon Rampage friends gifts or purchase the from the giftshop.

Dungeon Rampage Dungeon and Loots
Only the players who are actively playing in the dungeon will receive the loots. The dungeon rampage loot is shared equally among the entire Dungeon Rampage. However it should be noted that food is not shared between you and your Dungeon rampage team mates. In addition, your bonus also varies depending on whether or not you finish the entire Dungeon Rampage dungeon run.

Dungeon Rampage Leveling Cap and Stats
The level cap is currently 100. You will earn dungeon Rampage stats points up until level 60 with the following layout:
Levels 2-20: 2 points per level
Levels 21-60: 1 point per level

When you level up you can put points into Melee, Fury, Health, and Mana. You can spend gems to retrain your Dungeon Rampage heroes as well.

Dungeon Rampage Coins
Coins or “Gold” for gold coins are the basic Dungeon Rampage currency. You can earn coins via killing various enemies and destroy the objects. However, you should focus on killing enemies fast because they also give you valuable experience points for leveling up faster. It should be noted that you will also earn some coins by selling the gears and potions that you do not need.

The best way to spend coins is to purchase different Dungeon Rampage heroes for you to use in the game.

The Dungeon rampage coins are dropped in the following amount:
Single: 1 coin
Bag: 10 coins
Bricks: 100 coins

You can also purchase Dungeon Rampage coins with gems. The amount may vary depending on the sales that they have going at the time.

It should be noted that the gold is shared evenly among all of your Dungeon Rampage party members as long as they are actively moving and killing inside the game.

Dungeon Rampage Gems
The gems are the real money currency in Dungeon Rampage. They can be earned via money purchase or signing up for deals. Your best bet is to wait for sales and purchase the gems. The Dungeon Rampage gems are a great way to boost your character by having powerful weapons and skills in the game.

Dungeon Rampage Chests
You can get Dungeon Rampage treasure chests through dungeons or in the shop. Defeating a boss for the first time will also produce a better-quality chest than the surrounding dungeons on the map. weapons, boosters, health bombs, and even Gems. The quality of the Dungeon rampage chests are ranked by Common, Uncommon, and Rare. Chests requires keys to open and Dungeon Rampage keys can be bought with coins, gems, or found in other chests.

You can also keep the chests as an item. However you can abandon them permanently as well to save your inventory spaces for other items. It should be noted that your Dungeon Rampage character can affect the class of items from chests, for example, your more likely to get your own class weapons.

The Dungeon Rampage legendary ranked weapons are the latest update into the game. In this Dungeon Rampage legendary weapon guide, we will go over in detail about what these legendary weapons, how to get them, and whether or not they are worth the hassle and investment. If you have found this guide useful, please check out the rest of our Dungeon Rampage guides!

Please share these with your friends if you like the guide too.

Equip Legendary Gears

By this time you should know how the weapon system in Dungeon Rampage works. You will have to obtain both the Legendary weapon chest and get the key to open it. After which you will obtain some preselected weapons with random modifier rolls.

How to Get Legendary Chests:
You can obtain the legendary chest by playing through any of the dungeons in the Grindhouse map. I personally like maps that have low numbers of floors. Depending on your classes, you may want to farm the different types of enemies to get the legendary chests fast in Dungeon Rampage. You can also buy the legendary chest from the shop for 600 gems but it is simply a waste of gems. Based on our rough estimate, you should be able to get 1 legendary chest every 10~15 runs.

Legendary Chest Keys:
It costs 125k gold coins to open up legendary chests for the legendary ranked weapons. Because of its cost, you should consider farming for Dungeon Rampage gold fast. It should be noted that the keys are also sold for 150 gems. However, we would almost recommend you to purchase the keys with cash if you are loaded in real life. Based on our estimate, it will take anywhere from 2~4 hours in normal dungeon farming to get that much gold at current game builds.

Is Dungeon Rampage Legendary Weapons Worth It
With the cost of legendary keys priced at 125k a pop, many of the players would wonder if the legendary weapons are worth the farming and investment. Our straight and simple answer is definitely yes. However, we recommend you to start farming and trying for legendary ranked weapons when you have at least 1 Dungeon Rampage hero in level 60+.

Higher Base Damage Output: In general, the base damage of legendary weapons is roughly 30~50% more compared to the gold rare weapons of the same class. This makes the Dungeon Rampage legendary weapons very attractive.

Possible Higher Ranked Modifiers: With this dungeon rampage update, the weapon modifiers now have up to 5 star ranking system. Legendary weapons offer 4~5 star ranking on the weapon mods, which makes them quite stronger compared to the rare gold weapons.

Passive Weapon Modifier: Legendary weapons offer an additional “passive” skill that give your character additional powers. This stat boost is what makes the legendary ranked items alot more special and worthwhile. Please let us know if we missed any of the legendary gear stats.

Midas Touch: Coin modifier to increase gold drop by 5%
Stamina: Increase player health by 10+ weapon level*0.9
Aptitude: Increase player mana by 10+ weapon level *0.4
?: XP modifier to boost XP earned.
Acceleration: Increase movement speed by 10%
Buster Gen: Gain 1 buster point per enemy hit
Barrier: Increases melee defense by 10%
Admiral’s Luck: Decrease damage taken by traps by 25%
Beast Master: Increase pet health by 10+ weapon level*0.9
Animal Fury: Increase pet damage by 20+ weapon level*1.8

Legendary Conclusion for Dungeon Rampage
The legendary weapons are a good update and offer weapons that you definitely should aim for. However, start saving and farming the gears once you have leveled past level 60. Ideally you would want to save up all of your gold and open them up for level 100 gears. The gear stats is greatly dependent on your hero level, because of the cost of the legendary keys, you should focus on farming.

A rule of thumb that we have used is to open enough rare weapons for us to farm efficiently. Save enough coins to open maybe 1~2 legendary gears, then we shoot for level 100 before fully gear our heroes up with level 100 legendary weapons for all three slots. It will take time and patience, however your effort will be worthwhile!

Use Other Great Weapon Combination

Getting stronger gears and weapons is essential in Dungeon Rampage. You will be able to earn Dungeon Rampage weapons when you open up the chests. The chests will require keys to be bought with either Dungeon Rampage gold coins or gems. Advanced chests typically give you better gears with stronger attacking capability. The best way to get weapon is by “NOT” opening any of the common chests and save your Dungeon Rampage gold for Uncommon chests or higher. Below are some basic concepts on what you need to know about the Dungeon Rampage weapons.

Dungeon Rampage Weapons and Their Classes
Depending on the weapons that you get, only specific Dungeon Rampage hero classes can equip certain weapons. The categories are listed as followed. It should be noted that some weapon categories are shared between the classes. We have also note the type of weapon type that these are.

We can categorize the Dungeon Rampage weapons into 4 major categories: Tap, One Hit Wonder, Support, and Throwing. The Tap weapons are the ones with no cool down and you just tap to attack. One hit wonders typically use some MP, requires 1~2 seconds cooldown, and deal massive damage. The Dungeon Rampage support weapons include the scrolls that give HP or disable enemies. Lastly, you have the throwing weapons which require little MP, is ranged but deal less damage, and has no cooldown time period.

Axe Weapons (Tap): Berserker
Hammer Weapons (One Hit): Berserker
Heavy Throwing (Ranged): Berserker
Bow Weapons (Tap) (Ranged): Ranger
Sword Weapons (One Hit): Ranger, Vampire Hunter, Ghost Samurai
Magic Scrolls (Support): Ranger, Sorcerer
Lightning Staves (Tap):Sorcerer
Lightning Magic (One Hit):Sorcerer
Meat Cleaves (Tap): Battle Chef
Cooking Items: Battle Chef
Frying Pan Weapons: Battle Chef
Crossbow Weapons (Tap) (Ranged): Vampire Hunter
Hunter Traps (Support): Vampire Hunter
Katana Weapons (Tap): Ghost Samurai
Light Throwing (Ranged): Ghost Samurai

Weapon Stats
There are only a few weapon stats that you will be able to tell from simply looking at it. These stats are the weapon level requirement, weapon attack, and weapon type. These stats are pretty straight forward.

Modifiers
Modifiers are special stats that are added into the weapons. The modifiers are obtained when you open chests. Uncommon chests give 1 modifier and Rare chests give 2 modifier weapons. We will go over these Dungeon Rampage weapon modifiers in more detail in later part of this guide.

Hidden Weapon Characteristics
These are important weapon specs that cannot be seen until you actually use the weapon. Thus, it is essential for you to always give your new weapons a try before tossing them into the “junk” pile. Lower attack gears can actually do more damage and is more suitable for your playing style. All you have to do is to test these Dungeon Rampage weapons out.

Cooldown: This cooldown is usually imposed on 1 hit wonder weapons.
Combo Style: This hidden stat applies to any of your tapping weapons. By tapping the attack a couple of times, your hero will execute a chain of attacks. Depending on the weapon, the different attack chains have different damage output.
Hit Range: This also requires you to manually test out the weapons to tell. Different weapons have their attack range.
Attack Speed: Some weapons give heroes the ability to attack quite fast. When you break a certain threshold, your hero can attack twice per keyboard key tap.
MP Consumption: This typically applies to one hit weapons, ranged throwing weapons, and “hold” attacks. The amount of MP consumption varies from weapon to weapon.
Element (Strength / Weakness): This one is hard to tell too until you actually use the weapon on specific enemies. For example, Sorcerer’s lightning attacks are effective against some of the ice enemies but weak against the wood enemies.

Dungeon Rampage Weapon Modifiers
The modifiers in weapons are randomly generated. Some stats are better than the others. Depending on the “star” they have. They have stronger and longer lasting effects with more advanced star ranking.

Beefy: Deals ton of damage
Binding: Disable enemy attack for a period of time
Butchers (Meat Cleaver Only): Get better food when enemies die.
Chaining – Projectiles Chain through enemies.
Chargey: Charge attacks quicker.
Clever: Use less mana.
Cooling: Lower enemy movement and attack speed.
Flaming: Put enemies on fire.
Giant’s: Stronger Hit and slow on hit.
Knockback – Knock enemies back.
Noxious: Poison Enemy.
Piercing (Ranged Only): Pierce through first enemy and hits additional. Damage decreases for additional enemy.
Speedy: Attack even faster.
Sticky: Stops enemy from moving for 1.5 sec (Rank 1)
Studious: Use less mana.
Stunning: Stun enemy for 1 sec (Rank 1)
Vicious: Deals Critical Hits (Shown in Orange)

Because these weapons typically have their special uses, you can combine different types of weapon types into your ZXC slots to achieve custom Dungeon Rampage weapon builds.

Basic Setup: 1 or 2 Tap Weapons. The rest One Hit, Support Type, or Throwing.
This is the best setup in the game. You could consider equipping 2 tap weapons each with unique modifiers and switch between the two weapons while fighting in dungeons. For example, you can use poison plus binding or slow to deal damage to your enemies.

Support Style
This style will use 2 slots for the healing scrolls. However, this also only applies to the sorcerer class because the Ranger class does not have much maximum MP to make it worthwhile.

One Hit Wonder Combination: 3 One Hit Type Weapons
This style can deal massive amount of damage. However, the MP draw on your character is great. Thus, this is only recommended for the sorcerer style class where you have additional MP regeneration speed from Dungeon Rampage stat builds.
