Dragon Blaze DPS Calculator
Are you trying to figure out which is a better weapon for your DPS class in Dragon Blaze? Guess no more and find the real answer through this simple DPS calculator. Use it for your Mage, Rogue, and Archer classes. The instructions and details about our calculation method is located after the calculator.
How to Use Dragon Blaze DPS Calculator
The main purpose of this calculator is to figure out a better set of gears if you have choices. First, input your default stats in “Black”. Second, put on your sets of gears and enter the numbers on each of the sets. All the numbers that you should enter are marked in Yellow.
You can find damage output relationship between ATK, CRIT Rate vs CRIT Damage, effect of adding Accuracy and DEF Penetration to your effective damage output in PvP situations.
Compare the resulting numbers marked in purple cells to help you know which is a better weapon set.
Example
In this screenshot we will attach a picture of our character tool tip as well as the result shown on the calculator for two different weapons.
From our example, we put in the stats for the different two weapons. You can see that gear 1 will deal better raw damage because of higher base attack. Both of the weapons do not have accuracy, however once you start taking defense penetration into account, the weaker weapon will actually deal more damage as long as the enemy have 28.8% defense or more.
The actual weapon stats that I have with gear 1 is with Weapon ATK and Max ATK. The weaker weapon is a lower level gear with CRIT DMG and DEF penetration. From the picture you can also see that gear 2 also has better Crit ratio output due to higher Crit damage number.
Assumptions:
EVA % is a straight chance to dodge an attack completely, and it is canceled out evenly through Accuracy. We assume the default enemy EVA is 50%. You can adjust it by putting in a different number.
DEF % is a straight damage deduction that reduces the amount of damage taken, and it is canceled out evenly through through defense penetration. We assume the default enemy DEF Rate is 50%, you can adjust it by inserting a different number.
The amount of extra damage that you obtain through ATK, CRIT RATE, and CRIT DMG makes “additional” damage type stats irrelevant.

Attack Speed and Number of Hits: We set the default number of hits to be 100 hits. If you want to take advantage of the Attack Speed calculation, first estimate your ACTUAL number of hits in 1 minute. Then set a different gear and measure it again. Calculate the number of difference and put it into percentage form.
The Math:
We compare the result of Critical Rate and Critical damage over 100 hits. We add up the amount of damage done by critical attacks and non critical attacks. Then you can compare the effective damage output over 100 hits. In addition, we provide a “crit ratio” which shows how much damage is actually amplified through your Crit Rate / Crit Damage combination. It should be noted that you can actually deal less damage with a higher crit output simply because the base ATK is lower.
Next, we put the damage output to the test against enenmy EVA and our Accuracy rating. This section you can get a better idea of how Accuracy affects your DPS against enemy evade. You’ll get a number of actual number of hits that you will land, as well as projected amount of damage output. We simply multiply that percentage with the total damage to get an adjusted damage output after evasion.
In some cases, it can be worthwhile to give up some attack in favor of accuracy, especially in PvP setting.
Last, we place the landed hits against enemy’s DEF vs our DEF penetration. It is the last piece of the puzzle that determines your final damage output.
