The ISO-8 slots that you can insert into heroes or agent work different depending on the heroes or agent. For you own agent, you will obtain additional ISO-8 slots when you purchase and research higher level Marvel Avengers Alliance uniforms. You will gain additional ISO slots when you use the uniforms that are purchasable with gold.
Level 1 (Kevlar): 2 ISO-8 slots
Level 1 Gold (DermoSteel): 4 ISO-8 slots
Level 20 (Nanolaire): 3 ISO-8 slots
Level 20 Gold (BetaCloth): ISO-8 5 slots
Level 35 (Recon2): 4 ISO-8 slots
Level 35 Gold (SpecOp): ISO-8 6 slots
…and so on.
For heroes, Iso-8 slots become available as that hero gains levels. On any level a hero doesn’t gain a skill, they get a new Iso-8 slot that can immediately be used.
