Introductory Weapon Information

The weapons in TDP4 Team battle are only available for purchase once you have acquired enough TDP4 Skill points. Different weapons require different amount of gold to purchase, some weapons on Facebook are purchased via Facebook credit only. Once you have purchased the weapons you can equip and unequip them via the Profile section. You can also sell your TDP4 Team Battle weapons for roughly half of the cost back to the shop when you need the gold.

TDP4 Weapon Walkthrough

Below is a complete guide on how most players advance with their weapons of choice in the game. Use these as guidelines for your own game play.

Level 1~5
When you first start play the game, you start with the Glock by default. It is the weakest gun possible in game. But with decent playing style, the Glock will do. Without any skills invested, you can also get the Colt and Uzi, or the Gold Eagle for FB credits. We feel that both the Colt and the Uzi are unnecessary at the beginning of the stage because most players are still fairly easy to kill.

The Colt is slightly better because of its damage and the Gold Eagle is the best if you do plan to spend a little money toward the game. However you will soon outlevel the Gold Eagle.

Level 5~12
At this level you will have enough money to upgrade to the next tier of weapons. There are 5 guns that cost between 3500 to 4000 gold. Some of the better ones include the Calico, Benelli, and the MP5. The Calico is a great submachine gun for the level until level 10~12, then it will be outgunned by the Assault rifles.

The Benelli is a shot gun which is slightly better than the cheaper Winchester, so you might as well put more money to purchase the Benelli. If you have spent some money in the game to purchase gold, you can even consider using a combination of having both the Calico and Benelli. Use benelli as a starter weapon and submachine gun when your shot gun runs out of ammo.

It should be noted that another option is to purchase and use the MP5. It is a better submachine gun than the Benelli or the Calico. It is compareable to some of the weaker assault rifles to be used in TDP4 Team Battle.

Level 12~20
By level 12 or so, you should start seeing people with assault rifles. These are more or less better versions of sub-machine guns, doing more damage. There are 3 assault rifles that are affordable at this stage. The assault rifles are: AK-47, M16, and Steryr Aug. The best Assault Rifle to purchase at this stage is the Steyr Aug because of the extra damage. Do not waste your money on the other two.

Level 20~30
Past level 20, most all of the players use an assault rifle with a couple players equip TDP4 Team Battle heavy machine gun. You can get M249 SAW at this point and even Gatling gun if you have the money, although not really recommended because you can save your money for the later Elemental and Energy weapons.

Level 30+
After you have gotten the SAW, it’s really all about saving money. Some of the high end weapons are Laser LGM, Gauss Rifle, PJ Mark 1, and SMAW or M202A2. Pick your TDP4 Team Battle play style and pick the weapon type that suits you. Good luck!

TDP4 Players and Weapon Progression Versus Level

Below is a general observation of the weapons that people usually use throughout the game depending on their levels. With this, you will have a rough idea on when to upgrade to next tiers of weapons.

Level 0-1: pistols and sometimes uzis
Level 2-9: sub-machine guns and shotguns. some people might have PSL laser.
Level 10-30: assault rifles and heavy machineguns and a few shotguns
30+: mostly sniper rifles, rocket launchers, heavy machine guns and elemental guns
