Gold Capsule Drawing
Drawing the Gold Capsule is the fastest yet most risky way of getting the S and SS units. However, here are some tips that can help you lowering your Gold cost.
We will not be listing out the S and SS ranked Gundams that you can obtain through the capsule because you can check the list fairly easily.
Capsule Group Purchase Discount
The servers usually have Capsule drawing event that gives the entire server discounts when certain Capsules are drawn. You can usually see the current discount by tapping into the events section of the game screen.
The Capsule Group purchase discount lowers the gold cost of each of the draw when the entire server draws certain numbers of Capsules.
100 Draws -> 10%
300 Draws -> 20%
500 Draws -> 30%
1000 Draws -> 40%
2000 Draws -> 50%
4000 Draws -> 60%
What usually happens is that a certain rich players can pump all of his money into the game, hoping to grab the jackpot or the Capsule rewards, and at the same time lowering the cost of every player in the server.
However, without the help of the rich cash players, the server will usually stop at roughly 30~40% discount and will have a hard time to break through into the other tiers.
SD Gundam Capsule Reward
Capsule Rewards act like a “jackpot” function. The first player who draws the wanted Gundam will have rebate gold of everything that he has spent. Rich players use this as a mean to both obtain S and SS ranked Gundams at virtually no gold spent, as long as no other players cut you off by drawing the SS or Wanted Gundam first.
However, to really pull this feat off, you will usually need at least 1000+ draws to have a decent chance at drawing the cash Gundam. But if you have that much gold, this method means that you will also end up with tons of absorbing materials for your units.
If you are a rich cash player, consider topping up a bit of gold, and save them to tackle the Capsule machine during morning and evening times when no player are around.
The free players should note if any rich players are doing that, and refrain from drawing Capsule from that period. Although you may have better odds at drawing S or SS after the rich player gets all the crap out, you can literally destroy their bankroll if you hit the jackpot instead of him.
If multiple rich players reside on one server, they should coordinate to tackle the Capsule reward jackpot in turns so that no unnecessary gold are lost due to competition.
Calculate Your Odds
Lastly, the key is to calculate your odds. Check the Capsule rewards from time to time to see if the odds tilt in your favor. The best way to tell is to see if the SS mobile suits are still in the machine while plenty of the weaker A’s and B’s have been drawn. Although the odds do not change that much, but any little bit helps.
Corps Evolution Chamber
The Corps Evolution chambers acts like a “recycling bin” of your gold drawn Gundams. You can synthesize them and have a shot of creating more advanced Gundam units from them. Because of Corps Evolution Chamber, you should never donate, absorb, or sell any Gold capsule gundams that you have obtained through gold drawing.
Crops Rank 1 allows you to start using the Evolution chamber.
Corps Rank 4 allows you to draw Rank S gundams
Crops Rank 9 allows you to start drawing SS gundams.
Here are two tips that you should follow when using the Corps Evolution method.
1. You should save all of your Gundam units until you have achieved higher Corps rank. Higher ranks unlock more Gundams which improve your odds at getting more rare units.
2. Use three Gundams of same rarity so that you have higher chance of getting a rank up. For example, use BBB or AAA.
Here’s a brief simplified list of the different Gundams that you unlock with different Corps rank, we will only list the A and above gundams with this list.
