Pilot Guide Introduction
The purpose of this guide acts as a comprehensive informational guide to help you understand every aspect of pilots in the game of SD Gundam.
If you have seen any mistakes or have any other thoughts or strategies. Please feel free to correct us or add on to our guides by leaving a comment. Thank you.
Basics Summary
Early on in the game, you will learn to recruit pilots via the Officer School. Placing them with your Gundams via Formation. Stronger Pilots with the correct stats attributes improve your Gundam’s power in battles. To really excel in the game, you need both great pilots along with awesome gundams to be able to defeat your enemies.
How to Make Your SD Gundam Pilot Stronger Outline
1. Get More Pilots Through Officer School
2. Equip the Correct Pilot Talents
3. Reset Officer Stats via Officer Admin Center
4. Awake Pilots via Corp School to have higher max reset stats
5. Let pilots control the right Gundam Units (Specific Pilot Bonus and Melee/Range Type).
Getting More Pilots
You can get more pilots through Officer School refreshes. Higher level school building results in faster pilot refresh as well allowing you to unlock more slots. Having the right pilot is one of the cheapest way to make your entire team more effective.
Always recruit all the pilots that you see, especially the ones with talent skills. You never know when you will get a Gundam units that use a specific pilots. By not hiring pilots all the time, you would miss out.
Since higher officer school also increases your chances at getting better pilots (by having more refreshes and frequent refreshes), always upgrade your officer school to the max.
SD Gundam Pilot Stats
Each of your Gundam pilots have specific stats that make them more effective inside some Gundam suits more than the others. Your main goal is to match the range or melee attack Gundams with the pilot skills that match. For example, a melee type mobile suit unit should be piloted by someone with higher Fight stats.
Fight: Affects Gundam Melee Attacks and Defense
Shoot: Affects Gundam Range Attacks and Defense
Agility: Affects Gundam Speed, Critical Rate, and Dodge Rate.
Factors that Affect Pilot Stats
1. Officer Admin Center can be used to reset your stats to higher level. The max total of the stats is capped by the Officer Admin Center level.
2. Corp School can awaken pilots to increase the max stats cap.
3. Some pilot talents can boost the stats.
Complete SD Gundam Pilot List
Below is a list of all the pilot in the game. Please note that this list is still being completed.
You can recruit additional pilots from the Officer School. Higher level Officer School reduces the officer refresh time and allow you to unlock additional pilot slots.
You should always recruit all the pilots regardless of their ranking or talent. The reason is that you can “donate” them into your corps in exchange for stuff later.

The resets are divided into the following categories:
Wisdom reset – higher admin building costs more wisdom.
Intermediate: 4 Gold

Potential Talents Setup
In this section, we will discuss some potential pilot talents setup that you can do to help you in battle.
Interference: This is a powerful skill that when combined with 776 strategy. (Level 7, Level 7, and Level 6) SP plugins. Your gundam units can get the first hit with Skill attack. With interference talent, you can take out enemy’s SP which slows down their attack patterns. This strategy works for World Bosses for you to get a few additional attacking turns without dying.
Tanks:
Your tanky units should have Rigid for earlier levels and Knowledge for the agi bonus at higher levels. Tenacity can work quite well in end game to reduce some of the heavy hitting critical attacks.
Lastly, If the tanky units have some good buffs or debuffs, consider equipping him with the talent excitement as well to pull off more skill buff and debuff.
DPS Damage Output Units
For the DPS, early level or low ranked gundam units can take advantage of Toughness for general buff. Beheading for melee units and Sniper for range units damage increase.
As you move and progress further in the game. You want to have Penetrate which ignores enemy defense and Berserk for units with high levels of critical attacks. Both of these talents can push your DPS to a whole new level.
Hunt Down and Bosozku are also nice to have, although they are more limited because of their activation requirements. They should be the last on your list to exchange.
