Limitation Overview

There are a few limitations in the game. These mainly are:
Farm Plots Expansion
Castle Plots Expansion
Worker Permits
Market Stall Permits

We will go over each one of these and how they can affect your game play and strategy.

Kingdom Quest Farm Plot Expansion

Depending on your level, you will be able to purchase farm plot expansions to make your farm bigger. The farms are essential to generate the various ingredient resources for your kingdom. Remember that to generate any resources, you always have to place them or “start work” with your empty plots.

Below is a chart for the various level requirements, how many plots, and how much they cost in Groats in Florins at various stages. It should be noted that although high level expansions do cost alot of Groats, they are not impossible tasks as long as you play smart and patient.

Kingdom Quest Castle Plot Expansion

The Castle Plot is a tricky thing to plan in Kingdom Quest. Castle Plot are spaces for you to place Workers, Market Stalls, and Tables / Chairs for your customers. Your goal is to balance out these three elements to gather the maximum income possible. However, the balancing of these elements will be a separate post of discussion. In this guide we will only be discussing the Castle Plot expansion aspect of Kingdom Quest. Below is the table to layout the required level, amount of Castle Plots, and how much the Groats and Florins cost.

Kingdom Quest Worker Permits

As you level up, you will obtain Worker permits to recruit more workers. Now, your Kingdom Quest workers will need empty Castle Plots to place Workers on. The workers will need to use different ingredients to craft the various recipes in Kingdom Quest. Below is a list of the levels at which you can unlock the workers. It should be noted that you can unlock additional workers using Florins, however the Castle Plots will still be your main limitation.

Level 5: 4 Workers
Level 7: 5 Workers
Level 11: 6 Workers

Market Stall Permits

Market stalls are needed to sell the goods that you have made with Workers. Each stall will take set amount of dishes. Because of the Market Stall limit, it is essential for you to pick a few best earning recipes and focus on those. As you level up, you will receive Market Stall permits to sell more items in Kingdom Quest.

Level 8: 5 Market Stalls
Level 12: 6 Market Stalls

Thoughts on Castle Plot Placements

Always place the Chairs and Market Stalls next to each other. In general, you want to use all of your Workers and Market Stalls as they become available. You can then fill the remaining Castle Slots with chairs and tables. Always fill all of your Castle Plots up to get the maximum Groats money generation potential.

Lastly, you should place the Farm Plots close to the Worker plots. Doing so will eliminate the waste time for your princess to walk between the Worker and farm plots. The more time you save, the more groats that you will make in the long run.
