Depending on the factions that you choose, your Sword Girls playing strategy will sway into one of these categories, however these definitions are not 100% clear cut because many of the spells can be used in all the factions:
Academy:
The Sword Girls cards in this faction are focused on Debuff.
Vita:
Defensive play and life gaining, however the Student Council cards can make this faction into an extremely aggressive faction as well.
Darklore:
This faction features heavy hitters with self-buff followers.
Crux:
Buff cards with Snowballing effects to stack your followers with spells.
