This guide will first feature the different ways to get your Gundams, the best ways on how to level your Gundam mobile suits, reinforce Gundams. We will also discuss how you can make weaker teams stronger through inherit. Then we will go into various factors including plugins, arena military ranking, corps lab technology, and mine inspire. Lastly we will discuss some formation and pilot basics and how you should put together your teams. Enjoy and become stronger in the game!
How to Get Your Gundams
First of all, you will need to get your Gundam units. The ways include Friendship Capsule, Gold Capsule, Gift Packs, Instance Drops, Evolution, and Corps Evolution (Synthesis). In general, your goal is to get higher ranked Gundam suits as fast as you can since they are really the ones worthwhile to be upgraded.
We have written a complete guide to help you obtain some of the higher ranking Gundams.
Level Up Your Gundams
After getting your Gundam units, the next step is to level them up. This is the most basic way to make them stronger.
There are two ways to level up your Gundams, the first method is through training under the Evolution Chamber. The second method is through absorbing or “feeding” Gundams into your main unit. You can combine both of the methods to achieve the fastest leveling speed for your main team.
Gundam Training
Gundam training is available through the Evolution Chamber. There are three types of training methods available to you.
VIP 0: Basic: 100% EXP at 200 silver for 2 hours.
VIP 1: Gold: 120% EXP at
VIP 3: Platinum: 150% EXP at 1200 Silver for 12 hours.
To level up your Gundam suits faster, we recommend investing some real money into the game. In general, you should put in at least $25 to obtain VIP 3 which unlocks the platinum training. Platinum training makes Gundam training much more easily.
Gundam Absorbing
Gundam absorbing is done by “eating” or “feeding” other Gundam units. In general, the “Test types” units give out the most experience points while the other ranked gundam suits give considerably less EXP points. The mobile suits disappear after you feed them, all the reinforcements will be lost. The cost of feeding is 1k silver per each unit.
Rank C Gundam: 500 EXP.
Rank B Gundam: 800 EXP.
Rank A Gundam: 1200 EXP.
Small Test Type: 5000 EXP.
Medium Test Type: 10000 EXP.
Combining Gundam Training and Absorbing
As you unlock more Gundam training slots, you will have to combine both the use of training center plus absorb to get the most EXP. What you can do is by training the lower or feeder gundams first, before feeding them into your main team. However, you should always place your main team into training slots as priority as you can get more EXP that way.
By feeding the trained weaker units into the main team, roughly 30% of the EXP is lost through the process.
Gundam Reinforcement
After leveling up your Gundams, you will have to reinforce each of the 4 categories to make them combat ready. Without Reinforcements, your leveled Gundams will still be weak.
The reinforcements are done through Garage or the Gundam tab. Reinforcement costs silver to upgrade. They are divided into 4 categories: Attack, Defense, Speed, and Energy. In general, the higher rank the stats, the most silver that they cost to upgrade. For example, an SS rank stats will cost almost 10 times the silver compared to a C ranked stat.
Attack affects the amount of damage that you can do.
Defense affects both melee and range defense.
Speed affects Critical, Dodge, and Attacking Order.
Energy affects Gundam’s HP pool.
In general, if your silver fund is limited, you should fully load your damage dealer Gundams with full attack reinforcement. Your tank Gundams with full Defense and Energy reinforcement. However, if you have tons of funding, ideally you want to max upgrade everything to make them effective on their own.
Gundam Inherit
Reinforcement inherit is key to make your mining team deadly while still maintaining a good main team. It also makes reinforcement beyond Gundam level cap possible. What you do is to focus training your main team, then inherit into your weaker mining teams when you are starting to lose control of your mines frequently.
Gundam inherit transfers all reinforce stats into the second Gundam. The first Gundam will lose all the reinforcements while the second gains those reinforcements with some lost if you use the normal inherit.
Normal Inherit costs 40 gold and roughly 25% of the silver cost is lost.
Perfect Inherit costs 4000 gold and no silver cost is lost.
Before you inherit the stats, you should make sure that your secondary Gundam has already maxed all of its inherit stats. Because you will not be able to reinforce those weaker Gundams due to the usual level cap requirement.
Gundam Plugins
Gundam Plugins is another major factor that play into the strength of your units. Gundam plugins are accessed through the “EMBED” tab under your garage or gundam tab.
Like the reinforcements, the plugin slots are divided into 4 segments. Attack, Defense, Speed, and Energy. Each of the 4 categories allow you to have at most 4 different plugins. Each of the category only has 1 slots available in the beginning with 3 that can be unlocked with 40 gold a slot.
You can slot any type of plug ins into the slots with two limitations:
Each category can only have 1 unique plugin with the exception of Energy. For example, you can have Attack, Defense, Energy, but not Attack, Attack, and Defense.
Your Energy category can only hold HP plug-ins so this does not have the unique plug in restriction.
Getting Your Plug-ins
Free Plugin: The main method of getting free plug in is through Hero instances and sometimes special events. As a free player, you should always play through the Hero instances every day to get all the free plugins available. Even as a cash spender, at higher level you can consider doing Hero instances resets to grab the plug-ins at much lower cost than buying them straight from shops.
Cash Plugin: You can purchase Plug-in through Shop and high level plugins are typically given as spender rewards.
Plug-in Synthesize
You can synthesize 4 same plug-in into a higher level through Evolution Center.
Plug-in Transform
You can break down a level 7+ plug-in into 3 lower level same plug-in. You generally should not do this as you are actually losing a fraction of the plugin through this process.
How to Plug-in Your Gundam Units
Plug-in your Gundam units based on their specialties. For example, your tanks should invest heavily on Defense, and HP. If you are a high level player or heavy spender, you can consider investing into dodge for high level PvP.
If you are a damage dealer Gundam, consider getting Attack, Critical, and maybe speed for first hits.
776 Note: This setup allows you to execute your skill attack during your first round. Slot in two level 7 SP plugin and 1 level 6 plugin.
Arena Military Ranking Bonus
The next item on your list that will greatly boost the power of your team is through higher military rankings. Military ranking requires honor points which is another post by itself. We will not be listing out all the bonuses from military rankings but higher rankings increase your damage dealt and decrease your damage received. The higher the ranking, the better the battle effects.
Corps Lab and Tech
The Corp Lab function is one of the great way to boost the power of your teams. Each of the lab upgrade is divided into your different formations including the SD Gundam mine battle nodes.
The Corp Lab upgrades costs Feat. You earn feat through various donations and mine defenses. Below is a cost breakdown of the Corp lab upgrades.
Main: 200 Feats for level 1. 400 Feats for level 2.
C: 40 Feats
B: 80 Feats
A: 120 Feats
S: 160 Feats
SS: 200 Feats
Each of the upgrade increase HP by 3% and reduce damage received by 2%. You will have to pick the position of the team that you want to upgrade. In general, we recommend upgrade the front position first as front position is typically your main tank. You want the front position to have higher HP and receive less damage.
You should focus on upgrading your Main formation’s lab first, then C’s and B’s for better mine battle defenses. We would recommend not to go into the other three formations unless you are confident that you can grab the mine nodes frequently.
Mine Inspiration Team Boost
Without going into the details of mine inspiration, they are an effective way to increase your mine battle team’s attack and defense up to 50%. You basically invest either Gold or Wisdom to obtain the additional battle boost. Please read the Complete Mine Battle guide for more details.
The mine battle boost applies to all of your mine formation teams in both attacking and defending. We recommend only go for Mine Inspiration if you are trying to tackle the high output mines because the Gold or Wisdom invested can be quite high.
Basic Gundam Pilot Team and Formation Consideration
Lastly, we will touch upon the basics of Team Formations. In general, you want to have a tank unit sitting in front of your team soaking up damage while your two other Gundam suits are the damage dealers.
The tanks should have pilot skills that revolve around defense such as Rigid to reduce straight damage and Tenacity to reduce critical hits received. The tank Gundam stats should focus on Defense and Energy HP.
The DPS gundam units sitting in the back should have pilot skills that revolve around attacking. Some basic choices beheading for melee damage and sniper for ranged damage. Penetrate is great to overcome enemy defenses.
Your goal is to use the right pilots within the right formation setup. Continue reading for more information on how to train and get better pilots.
