Battle Grounds Basics and Rewards
About Battle Grounds
You must be at least level 15 to join the BG. The battle grounds are a series of instanced PvP maps where you have to fight the opposing factions for awards. You can check out the list of Battle Grounds Maps.
The Battle Grounds happen every hour on the hour with a couple minutes off, depending on the character level bracket. The Battles rotate the maps every other hour so you will not have the same map every hour. It is best if you become familiar of the locations as you play the Battle Ground.
Battle Grounds Rewards
There are a couple different rewards that you can earn from participating in Scarlet Blade battle grounds.
Entering BG: Repeatable quest or quests that reward EXP.
Killing Other Players: EXP, Rank Points, Dog Tag, and General Supply Box (Uncommon)
Killing NPC, Box, and Tower: potions, passcards, scanners, mechs, cyberskins, enhancement shards, lingerie, and more.
Additional Rewards based on Contribution points or victory.

Joining the Battle Grounds
You can register or queue for BG 5 minutes “before” the event starts, it usually is around the hour. When you can register, you will see a red icon above the skill bars. Clicking will automatically sign you up.
Another way to register or unregister for Battle Ground can be done with the Battle Menue (short cut T).
After joining the Battle Grounds, you will either get a pop window to enter the BG or a message saying that the BG’s full. Because the Battle Ground is first come first serve, you want to make sure that you register early.
Balance System
It should be noted that there is a player balance system to allow even numbers of factions to enter the BG.

Dog Tags
Dog Tags and ranking points are obtained through killing other players including neutral zones. You can exchange the dog tags for medals by talking to Conversion NPC in Battle grounds and Caergate base after hitting level 23 from Bitterstone teleporter.
Higher dog tags number grant higher medal conversion rate.
Medal and Ranking Points
These can be used to purchase Scarlet Blade ultimate skills and rare items in the Point Vending Machine. The Point Vending Machines are in Battlegrounds and Caergate. Some purchases require both Medals and Ranking Points.
You can use “C” key to checking the Ranking info tabs for the points.
The ultimate skills are permanent skills once purchased, you do not need to upgrade them. However, the ultimate skills have a cool down period of 15 minutes.
As you gain more ranking points, you will have higher titles and stars with your name. The ranking titles in Scarlet Blade does not give any stats boost other than simple bragging rights.
Contribution Points
Contribution points are earned based on your classes. In general, it is based on the numbers of kills and damage done to NPC’s, towers, and boxes.
As a medic, you will earn contribution points based on the HP healed. However, you can only obtain Rank Points and Exp from kills as a medic if you are in a group.
Useful Hints
Creating Raid Party in BG
To be more effective as a team in BG, you can make raids to connect different parties into one major raid party. It should be noted that although Battle Grounds kicks you out of party, it does not kick you out of raid parties.
Picking Up Dog Tags
In the heat of the battle, just spam “E” key while running from location to location. This way you will be able to pick up stray dog tags under chaos.
Switching Between Enemies
In the heat of battle, if you are having trouble targetting people, try to use “Tab” to rotate between targets.
Spawn Camp CP Recharge
When you spawn in the respawning point, stay inside the circle to obtain the boosted buff of CP recharge speed.
