Understanding Outernauts Fuel and Lunar

The Outernauts fuels are necessary to power up your spaceship if you want to travel to another planet. You will want to get as much fuels as possible because later travels can cost quite a bit of fuel. Fuel is earned via your Fuel Pumps on your Outernauts home world or Fuel Pumps in friend’s home world.

Lunar is the basic money currency of Outernauts. You can spend Lunar on majorities of items such as healing items, home world buildings, gravity balls, and more. Pretty much every action that you do in Outernauts will be able to grant you some Lunars, however some actions will give you more lunars the majority of the time than others. We will go through each of these lunar making methods in Outernauts.

In the last part of our Outernauts lunar and fuel making guide, we will also discuss a couple of the ways that you can do to conserve and save lunar and fuels, so that you will be able to use them on items that are more important.

Making Outernauts Fuels

You can earn fuels in Outernauts either through your own fuel pump or your friend’s fuel pump. Depending on the different fuel pump contracts that you can do, you will earn various amount of fuels with differing time and Outernauts lunar investment. Below is a list of the Outernauts fuel pump contracts that you can make in the game. Based on this chart along with the amount of fuel per lunar, you can easily see that the higher level lunar to fuel have the best ratio. Thus you should always use the higher level Outernauts fuel pump contract to make the most out of Outernauts Energy.

You can also collect from your friend’s Outernauts Home world fuel pumps when you visit them. Each action toward fuel pump will net you 5 fuels. On the friend’s side, the action on fuel pump will either help you collect from it (save you energy) or speed up the production time.

It should also noted that the Outernauts decoration Small tree and cloud tree can improve the production time of your Fuel contracts when placed near them.

Outernauts Fuel Conservation

Although it may be tempting to fly around the different planets to complete your quests faster. Try not to jump around that much until you have fully completed the area or planet. This way you will save your fuel for later parts of the game where it can cost quite a bit to fly around. It should be noted that there is a Outernauts fuel limit of 999, so do not save too much of Outernauts fuel either!

Making More Outernauts Lunar

In this part of the Outernauts guide we will go over all of the ways which you can make and earn more Outernauts Lunar in the game.

Outernauts beast feeder collection:
This is one of the best way for you to gain lots of Lunar within a short amount of time. You can collect 100 lunar from your beast feeders per Outernauts energy. You will have to expand your Outernauts home world to build more feeders.

Outernauts Actions:
Many of the actions in game will net you some energy including collections. However these collections usually net you only a small amount of lunar per energy spent.

Outernauts Wild Beast and NPC Battles:
You will earn Outernauts lunar when you win in battles. These gains are some times pretty decent but your main goal is really to get the experience points for your Outernauts beasts in battles and to advance in the story line.

Friends Social Gifts:
You can send and receive lunar from your friends as gifts.

Outernauts Email Reward:
Lunar is gained when you choose to receive emails from Outernauts, as well as some energy. So always collect from your Outernauts email rewards on a daily basis.

Friend’s Home World Visit in Outernauts
Lunar is earned when you complete all 5 of your friends energy when you visit their home world. So visit their home world often and use the energy to get some free Lunar.

Quests for Lunar:
Most of the quests in Outernauts will give you some Lunar as quest completion reward. It is also a good way to level up your main character.

Friends Duels and Lunar “Bets”:
You can win or lunar when you duel friends in Outernauts. The ratio at which you will gain or lose Lunar for losing depends on the ratio and amount of your beast’s power. You should try to battle with friends around your beast level to be able to earn Lunar for winning.

Conserving Lunar

:
You will be able to save your Outernauts Lunar if you play smart in the game. Below are some of the tips to help you keep more of your Lunar in the game.

Purchase Gravity Ball “packs: You can save your lunar by getting a better deal when purchase the gravity ball packs. Each ball will cost effectively less. It is smart to save up your money and buy the biggest pack avaiable.

Natural Healing: It is smart to not waste your Lunar on Outernauts Beast healing items the most of the time. Because it also takes energy for your character to conduct any action, it is usually smart to simply let your beast heal while you wait to get more Outernauts energy.

Chill on Craft Buildings: The crafting in Outernauts can help you with strong battle items and energy items. However because loots items do not come easily in Outernauts, 1 of each crafting building is enough for you in the game. Avoid building more than 1 craft building is a good way to conserve your fund.

Strong Outernauts Beast Team: This can sound a little counter-intuitive, avoid training your strongest Outernauts beast with the training because the training dojo will remove the beast from your active team. You want to have the strongest Outernauts on your team as often as possible to avoid being beaten by your friends and other people via duel. When you lose duels, you will lose Lunar.

Fuel Efficiency in Outernauts
Get your fuel in your friend’s home world and avoid travel much is a good way to save your fuel. With more fuels, you will be able to save Lunar with all the fuel contracts that you would other wise invest your Lunar money on.

Note on Star Gems and Fuel/Lunar

Although you can purchase fuel and lunar with star gems aka real cash, you should avoid doing so because there are better uses of star gems in the game. Fuels and lunar is essentially free and will become more easily to obtain mid and end game when you have unlocked or level up your Outernauts character higher.
