Outernauts Leveling Up Overview

Before we head into the technical details about how to level up, we have to first differentiate the two types of player levels in Outernauts. You first have your character level and then you have your Outernauts beasts levels. The Outernauts player levels unlock various buildings and items in the game, while the beasts level are the true bread and butter of your battle plays. We will go over both of the leveling aspects of your Outernauts player and beasts because both are equally important.

Outernauts Player Levels

You can gain player EXP through the following methods in Outernauts:

Battles against Wild Outernauts Beasts and NPC’s.
Completing Quests
Conduct actions with harvests.

Out of these ways, the best way to earn player experience points and level up is by battle against wild outernauts. You can mob up the wild beasts and fight multiples of them at the same time. You will also be able to save Outernauts energy when you use this method to level up fast.

Outernauts Beast Levels

We will go over some key concepts to help you level up your Outernauts beasts faster. In general, the key to let your Outernauts beasts level up fast is through continuous battling and winning. These tips and methods will show you just how to win in Outernauts battles and earn those precious experience points to leveling up.

Focus Outernauts Beast Training:
To level up your Outernauts beast fast, your job is to focus the fights and experience points on one single of your Outernaut beast. It means that keep your beast team small and strong at the beginning of the game. By focusing all of your battles with three beasts all the time, you will be able to level them up fast. Consider going against my advice about not spending Outernauts Lunar, and purchase healing items when necessary. Leveling up fast does not come in cheap.

Use Training Dojo Sparingly:
Training dojo may be a nice way to give your Outernauts beast some extra level. However if you are actively playing the game, waiting a couple of hours while the beast is training is totally unacceptable. The wait will slow your Outernauts beast leveling speed down. Always only use the Training dojo when you are sleeping or when you are going to be away from computer.

Pick Your Outernauts Beast Level Grinding Spot:
Once you have decided a team of beasts to focus and specialize in, select a planet with beasts that are weak to them naturally. You want to use the Outernauts beast strength and weakness to level up fast. Your goal is to pick a spot where the beasts are easy to kill that give you the most experience at the same time. Depending on where you are in the game, you may come up with different creative solutions to gain experience fast.

In general, use your common sense plus the planet recommendation. You will level up your Outernauts beast faster and easier.

Home World Decoration Boosts:
Do not forget the various decoration placement boosts that you can offer your Outernauts beasts. Check out the different Outernauts Homeworld decorations that you can use to heal up your outernauts beast faster. Remember to expand your Outernauts home world so that you have more room to place the decorations. With the health point regeneration boost, you can fight more and level up your beasts more efficiently with more health.

Fight with Full Health Points:
To get the experience points and level up fast, one of the event that you need to absolutely avoid is to get your Outernauts beasts killed. Reviving takes time and that time will cut into your leveling speed. In addition, your beast will receive no experience points for the battle that it got killed in. When possible, go into battles and duels with your beasts fully powered to win and level up.

Beasts with Healing Abilities:
In order to continue leveling and battle nonstop, you will need beasts with healing abilities or draining life abilities. The stamina can be healed in Outernauts battles through “napping”, but your health points will have to either use potions off-battle or wait for them to recover. Thus, your dream Outernauts beast leveling team should all have some form of health generating ability. Your Outernauts beast team can only level up faster when they have the health points as support.

Team Battles and Attack All Skills:
You want to end the battles quickly if you want to level up fast. You can achieve this by leveling up all the Outernauts beast skills that deal damage to the entire enemy team. Get the strongest skills and end battle quickly, then you can use the extra turns to generate life through Star Wish or Drain life, or other healing abilities. Your goal is to attack multiple beasts at the same time and destroy them all quickly for the nice experience points gain.

Other Battling Tips:
Aside from the battling tips, you can always use the special or store bought Outernauts battle items and boost. However, you should fight beasts slightly weaker than you to avoid taking too much damage. This is so called “grind” in the mmo that we all love and hate at the same time. Save your Outernauts lunar and special battle items for harder battles.

for level up is it best to just have one monster in your party? Asking because I used to play simulator fb games like this and it has it where having one in part=more exp? Also is this a cash shop one where if you pay you steam roll this game? I hope its not a cash shop one.

Good questions. Also, if I want to level up a baby I just hatched, how should I go about that? Putting him first and switching him out doesn’t seem to give more exp then just leaving him out? Do the ones that get the most exp have to be in the battle at the time it ends?
