Types of Skills
Outcast Odyssey skills can be divided into two categories: Skills and attack spells.
The skills and spells can proc with each other which means that by having both procing.
Hero cards usually come with skills that add additional levels to specific skills or add health or attack.
Attack skills are available via your Weapon and defensive skills which counter the moves are available with your defensive gears such as shields.
The pet cards usually come with extra buffs that are added along with the skills such as adding drain to slash, etc.
Your goal is to have a deck of cards with skills that are built upon one another.
How to Level Up Skill
You can level up cards skills when you enhance with another card with skills. Depending on the feeder card used, the main card may receive different odds for a skill rank up.
Card Skill and Evolution
When you evolve your cards, the higher level of the skill is kept.
Outcast Odyssey Skill List
Many cards have skills that may proc during battle, boosting damage or defending attacks from foes.
Bash: Level 1-4
Alternate attack two targets by x times per level, until another skill is hit.
Blast: Level 1-5
Attacks up to x different targets per level at the same time.
Pierce: Level 1-5
Attacks one target x times per level until another skill is hit.
Slash 2: Attacks 2 targets along a line.
Slash 3: Attacks 3 targets along a line.
Slash 4: Attacks 2 targets along 2 lines.
Slash 6: Attacks 2 targets along 3 lines.
Spiral Level 2-6
Attacks x target per level in order until another skill is hit.
Volley
Attack targets random x times per level until another skill is hit.
Spells
Armor: Places armor plates on the targets.
Burn:
Burn: Damage over time to affected target. 1 turn, 1x damage.
Burn+: Damage over time to affected target. 2 turn, 1x damage.
Burn++: Damage over time to affected target. 3 turn, 1x damage.
Drain
Drain: Takes a small amount of health from enemy and gives it to you over 1 turn.
Drain+: Takes a small amount of health from enemy and gives it to you over 2 turns.
Freeze
Freeze: Enemy misses 1 turn. Also, Damage over time to affected target. 1 turn, 1x damage.
Freeze+: Enemy misses 2 turns. Also, Damage over time to affected target. 1 turn, 1x damage.
Freeze++: Enemy misses 3 turns. Also, Damage over time to affected target. 1 turn, 1x damage.
Poison
Poison: Damage over time to affected target. 1 turn, 1x damage
Poison+: Damage over time to affected target. 2 turns, 1x damage
Sleep
Sleep: Enemy misses 2 turns
Sleep+: Enemy misses 3 turns
Stone
Stone: Enemy misses 2 turns.
Stone+: Enemy misses 3 turns.
