Monster Farming and Capture Analysis
Capture Monster Strategy Optimized Strategy
If your goal is to farm all of your Monster Warlord monsters, you have come to the right place. This is a strategy based upon Energy use, capture success chance, and the relative Attack power of the different elemental monsters.
If you do not wish to learn how we derive at our answers, simply jump to the results for some simple guidelines on when and how to farm the mobs the most efficient way possible to improve your attack value.
(Mathematical Mumbo Jumbo Starts)
The method that we used is to divide the energy by the chance of capture success to obtain a rough energy spending number. Then we compare the energy use to the attack power gained by farming to obtain a relative ranking. For example: To calculate the optimal point at which you can switch to farm higher level monsters.
Note this formula does not take into account of “encountering” chance. However, we ignore that being that the two chances should be equal.
Uncommon Dark Devcat has 22 Attack.
At level 66 it would have 85% chance of capturing with 6 energy. This equates to roughly 7.05 energy used.
Divide the attack of 22 by 7.05 and you will get roughly 3.11 attack per energy spent.
Rare Fire Hellhound has 48 attack.
At level 66 it would have a 65% chance of capturing with 10 energy. This equates to roughly 15.38 energy used. Divide the attack of 48 by 15.38 and you will get roughly 3.12 attack per energy spent.
Based on this, we can derive that level 66 is the breaking point at which Farming Hellhound becomes relatively attack profitable.
