What is Soul Development

Soul Development is another method to boost your characters stats. There are multiple ways or routes that you can use to boost the stats via Soul Development.

What is Soul Essence

Soul essence is required as a part of the material to develop your soul spirits.

Accessing the Soul Development Screen

You can access the soul development tab by click on the “soul” within your character screen.

How to Upgrade Souls

Different souls have different requirements. You have to reach a certain level and satisfy the prerequisite in soul level before you can progress to the next one.

Obtaining the Soul Development Upgrade Materials

Purified Crystal:
dungeons, the closer you are in level to the dungeon that you are running, the more likely that you can obtain the purified crystals. The purified crystal is needed to upgrade all soul spirit tree in Crystal Saga origins.

Soul Shard:

There are two ways that you can get soul shards:

Crystal Ladder
1. Receive 1 soul shard per every 10 levels of crystal ladder.

Ranger Elder in the Tree of Life
2. You can fuse with Ranger Elder in the tree of life with 10 soul root crystals. Note: You can get soul root crystal from blessed bath or disenchant the purple equipment. The soul shard is needed to upgrade all soul spirit trees.

Ice Shard:
Vega the Mad in Revenant’s Vault drops Ice Shard by chance. The ice shard is required to upgrade soul of ice spirit tree.

Brilliance Shard:
Vicelot in Blood Coliseum drops the brilliance shard by chance. The brilliance shard is required to upgrade the soul of brilliance spirit tree.

Void Shard:
Zabuga in the Sacrificial Relic drops the void shard by chance. The void shard is required to upgrade the soul of void spirit tree.

Heart Shard:
Princess Hitomi in Psychodelica drops the Heart Shard by chance. The heart shard is required to upgrade the soul of heart spirit tree.

Light Shard:
Chancellor in Killer’s Den drops the Light Shard by chance. The light shard is required to upgrade the soul of light spirit tree.

Developing the Soul Spirits

Soul Spirit Sequence

You can first develop the spirit of Ice when you reach level 30. You can then develop the following soul spirits in this sequence.

Spirit of Ice–>Spirit of Brilliance–>Spirit of Void–>Spirit of Light–>Spirit of Heart

Note that each spirit prior must reach level 5 before you can develop the next spirit. However, The Spirit of Immortality is unique such that it can only be unlocked after you have leveled up all the other soul spirits to level 10.

In addition, the soul spirits each has their own unique attributes.

Soul spirit and Their Stats

Below is the list of the soul spirits and their primary boosts:

Spirit of Ice: Defense (Pdef, Mdef, Increased Def %, Damage Reduction, Endurance, AP and Crit Def)
Spirit of Brilliance: Offense (Strength, Patk/Matk Increase, Patk/Matk % increase, crit damage and crit rate)
Spirit of Void: Agility and Critical Strike (increase hp, dodge, armor penetration and crit defense)
Spirit of Light: Intellect & Heal (Healing Increase, Healing Increase %, Intelligence)
Spirit of Heart: Defense (Increase Hp, Hp % increase, Patk/Matk Reduction, Luck Increase)
Spirit of Immortality: Sum of 5 spirits (Increase All Stat, stat increased %)

Activating Soul Skills

After developing your soul spirits, you can then activate the soul skills. These are the skills that will strengthen your character and improve their characteristics.

Special Soul Aura

When your soul completion reaches the following milestones 500, 1100,1700, 2300, and 3000 points, your character will show different auras.
