Basic Gizmonauts Beginner’s Player Guide
Learning a new game can be tough, thus Gamelytic has written a beginner’s guide to help you break into Backflip Studio’s latest game: Gizmonauts. In this guide, we will go over some basic currencies and functions of the game. Many of these items are comparable to Backflip’s wellknown game: Dragonvale. If you have played Dragonvale before, starting and excelling in Gizmonauts should be an easy task, especially with our beginner’s guide.
Please check out Mobile game guide list for the rest of our Gizmonauts guides and especially our Gizmonauts robots breeding guide.
Basic Gizmonauts Terms
Robux
Robux are the coins comparable to Dragonvale. You can get more robux through sweeping your zones (habitats) or visiting your neighbors. In general, higher levels robots will generate more Robux for you in the game.
Zones
Zones are the habitats where your Gizmonauts live.
Snax
Snax are needed to be fed to your Gizmonauts. They can be grown from Snax Shack and Snax Joint. In addition, you will gain some XP when you grow them. If you can play often, it is better to grow the shortest time frame Snax, but if you need to sleep and such, turn the growth period for the longer ones.
Friend’s Speed Up Help
When you visit your friend’s robot towns, you will be able to speed up their building time frame like most of the other City building games. Depending on the original time frame of the building, the boost will fasten the amount of time needed. (The longer the time is, the more the time boost will be). The timer is about 25% off when clicked.
Crystal
Crystal is the item that can be used to speed up any timers that you might have in Gizmonauts. These timers include breeding, battle arena waiting time, baby bot station, and more. In addition, you can buy nifty things like bots and accessories with crystals.
Free Crystals
One of the main way to get free crystals is through your friends. You will be able to gift 3 crystal gifts to your friend list per 24 hours. If you have a good circle of friends who would gift crystal per day, this is a good free crystal source.
Battle Arena
Battle Arena is the place to put your robots to the test. After you have leveled up your robots and equipped them with stronger tools, you will be able to win more battle arena fights. You will pick 2 robots to fight for rewards including Robux, XP, and boosted earning power. Lastly, your robot may also win new tools to make them even stronger for future Battle Arena fights.
Bots Battle Stats Definitions
The Gizmonauts have multiple stats that can affect their strength and effect in the Battle Arena. Below is a quick guide on the stats and what they do. It should be noted that the more plus signs the better these stats are.

Ranged = Affects ranged damage (second row)
Armor = Higher defense resulting in less damage received
Speed = Higher speed bots will usually attack first in battle
Health = Gizmonauts’ health amount
Charge Damage = Increase Chart hit damage.
Charge Speed = Increase the charge up rate of CHARGE bar (both the RED bar and bottom bar)

Red Number = Damage you are receiving
Green Number = Heals received
How to Fight and Pick Your Bots
You will be able to fight in the Battle arena once your bots have reached level 5. You should pick the bots depends on the gizmos that they have available.
Gizmonauts Bot Combo for Arena
At the time of writing, there are two schools of thoughts for making up your Gizmonauts team in the Battle Arena.
1. Melee Type + Range Type – This combination deals the maximum amount of damage. For example the team would look like this.
Miner with spiked drill
Carrier with rocket launcher
2. Melee Type + Heal Type – This combination can help you last longer in battle because of the potential heals from the repair bot.
