Understanding Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade Ability and Weapons
Abilities are magic spells and physical skills that you can obtain through “feeding” the Chocobos. You will encounter different colored Chocobos as you adventure and conduct quest. You can also “encounter” chocobos when your team members notify you of their encounter.
One good way to artificially increase your rare Chocobo encounter rate is by “notifying” your teammates and brigades. The best way to meet rare Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade Chocobo is by using 1 “Vomp Carrot” to ensure 100% looting rate. Then notify the maximum numbers of Brigade members allowed. By doing so, your active brigade members will be able to encounter the rare Chocobos too and refer them back to you.
The basic Chocobo is the Yellow One that can be fed for free. However, the abilities gained are mainly Normal and Normal+ feeder skills. You really want to focus on the rare White, Black, and other event Chocobos such as Red.
Equipping Your Gears
The gears in Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade has two limits. Either the weapons and abilities have a 9 item limit. After that, you have a “Cost” limit. Each weapon or abilities come with a cost, the maximum of your gear costs cannot be more than your max.
Use Optimize Well
Whenever possible, you should always use the system provided optimize tab. In most of the cases, the default optimize will provide you with the strongest attack and defense possible. You should note that when you are optimize at “change job”, you can change the sort option into “optimize attack” or “optimized defense”. Always optimize before your attacks.
Elements
Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade has 8 elements associated with the abilities and spells. These elements are Earth, Fire, Water, Thunder, Wind, Ice, Dark, and Light.

The key to become a top player is to play diligently. Play as much as you can to attack the Espers and earn those precious treasure boxes. There are many rare gears, abilities that you can obtain simply by playing a lot. You might even consider spending some money to have a shot at obtaining the SR+ abilities through the various rare Chocobos.
2. Optimize Path of Growth
Depending on your jobs in Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade, you will have specific sets of gears and abilities that you should focus on. Because your limited resources in enhancement scrolls or feeding abilities, you should always opt to focus on one types of gears and abilities first. With a focus on the types of gears and abilities that you have chosen to upgrade, you will be able to deal more damage and earn more rewards.
3. Prepare Sets of Gears and Abilities
Because you have a limit on the numbers of abilities and weapons that you can equip at any one time. As you advance further into the game, you should have a couple sets of gears that coincide with the jobs that you want to focus on. A good rule of thumb is to have a set of AGI, INT, and STR abilities with the different jobs weapons that go with them. Plan ahead of time and prepare to change course based on the SR+ and SR weapons that you come along your adventure in Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade.
4. Social Aspect of Partying
If you are an active player and truly want to excel, you must grab an active group of players in your party. You want to have active players who play like you do. When you can consistently have Brigade battles and earn treasure chests, you will advance faster and collect equipment faster.
5. Understanding Special Events
Like most of the other Trading Card like games on the platform, your goal is to participate in the special events and earn those exclusive rewards. Most of the time these special events are worthwhile of your time to grant you awesome loots.
6. Fight for Winning Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade Battles
If you know that you will lose certain Brigade battles, it is best not to use the Single normal attack. You want to fight the battles that you know your Brigade can win. For example, if a high level ESPER can wipe out most of the people in your Brigade, you can safely guess that it will probably escape before the timer ends. Now, you should save your valuable BP and wait for the next boss fight. Victories against the boss Brigade fights yield more loots.
7. Use Your Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade BP Wisely
By this time you should know that your BP is valuable. Never waste your full bar of BP if the boss only have a little HP left. Do Single attacks if you know that the boss will die with just a single BP. Your goal is to always have a healthy amount of BP for full attacks when necessary. Use your BP wisely is the key to winning and advance fast.
8. Take Advantage of Leveling LP/BP Boost
When you level up in the game through questing, you will fully recover your LP and BP. Take advantage of this effect at the early stage of the game. You can get some extra heavy hits if you can plan ahead of time. It is good practice to stop your leveling gauge just before leveling, spend all of your BP on brigade fights, then level up to fully refill your LP and BP.
